I am stepping in here to speak up.
The official ball being run by players is OC on April 1. Why would you choose to run a ball at the same time as someone else? It is like seeing a girl in your class is having a party this weekend and knowing that everyone (including you) are invited and deciding that you are going to hold another party on the same day. This is really rude. But more than that, these users earned this as a reward for hard work.
I am not going to stop you from doing what you are doing because no rules have been broken but a lot of feelings have likely been hurt by this.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.
