Days had passed since Raizel had arrived in Hogwarts. Adjusting was very hard for the young Gryffindor and took a couple of days until she got used to her new life in this school of witchcraft and wizardry. Classes were great, taking quite a liking with her Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Those were fascinating although she seems to be struggling with History of Magic. The class wasn't that, nope, it was interesting but there were times when she gets pretty confused on what's going on and the assignments sometimes gives her a headache.

Today was just like any other day, classes were done and she tiredly made her way back to where their common room is and only stopping when she saw the commotion just in front of the painting that serves as their common room's keeper. Curious, she slowly made her way there to take a glimpse of what was going on. Upon seeing those googly eyes on the painting, she can't help but feel quite amused and kind of found it funny but at the same time, she does feel bad for the Fat Lady. People in the paintings have feelings after all. Who would even do such a thing?

That question was just answered by the Fat Lady, telling a student about who were the ones who did it to her. A boy with a green kilt and a dark haired girl. Despite the description, that's gotta be hard to find in a school this big with a lot of students walking around. Her train of thought was cut off once she heard a voice from somewhere close to her. The dark brown haired girl turned her head to look over to the person that just spoke to her, giving her a proper look. A familiar face, she thought. A classmate maybe? And she is a Gryffindor too so she might've seen her before somewhere in their common room. Despite being here for quite some time now, she is still in the process of getting to know her classmates and her fellow Gryffindor.

Raizel thought about her question, looking at the painting. "Sadly, no but whoever did it sure went all out and took it on the poor painting." She responded as she looked at the girl next to her. A proper reply… huh? This girl sure is interesting and it would be unfair for the Fat Lady if those who did this to her didn't get a proper reply. "Are you gonna try and find them? Cause that seems interesting." She admitted with a smirk. This does go against her 'not wanting any conflict' policy but she can't just let this go.

Gryffindor robes! For now...

The girl next to her seemed as confused and surprised as Ying, let's be fair and say that there's not everyday that you can witness something like that, whoever got the idea of gluing googly eyes all over The Fat Lady's portrait was very bored and has a rare piece of imagination as long as a refined predisposition for trouble. All of that, made Ying even more curious about who would have been responsible for such masterpiece. But the description made by the poor voluminous pink lady didn't ringed any bell, at least any specific one. The curious Gryffindor tried to figure out if by any chance the other girl would bring her some more information but apparently all the details had been as vague for her as for Ying.

"Are you gonna try and find them? Cause that seems interesting." The brown haired girl asked Hui-Ying with a smirk. The Asian girl's big brown eyes sparkled with excitement at hearing her words, she almost felt butterflies in her stomach at starting to think about a way to catch whoever did that and plan a good way to reply to it. "Yeah! Of course I'm going to try to find whoever did this!" She said barely containing her enthusiasm, "Whoever seems quite difficult to find the right person just by those poor descriptions..." She continued now frowning in a concentrated expression, "A kilt...perhaps we can ask around?" She suggested, "Or..." she continued with a shrug, "Or we can just plan something fun too? I mean...even if we can't know who did this?" she asked looking at the girl. Then a sudden realization came to her mind, "Oh! Right, sorry! Fang Hui-Ying, first year!" She finished reaching her hand towards the girl that she hoped to be her future friend and "partner in crime".

The girl's enthusiasm in her answer and the excitement present in those eyes of hers that almost made them sparkle sure surprised Raizel but that made her smile, with a rather mischievous glint in her own pair of brown colored eyes, her own adventurous side resonating with the energy that this person that she just met have. The thought of looking for the ones responsible for the vandalization of the Fat Lady Portrait is exciting. "Well, that is true…" Raizel crossed her arms, a smile with slight disappointment present on her face when the girl mentioned how it's gonna be hard finding people that matches the description that the lady gave them.

"But yeah, asking around might help. The ones that were responsible had probably gone too far by now but who knows, maybe someone caught a glimpse of them. If not, I don't really mind doing something fun." She answered with a grin. Fun stuff would surely help loosen up a couple of nerves from all the studying and assignment. They are kids after all and they need to have some entertainment. "And while we're at it, we might even come across some information regarding this." Raizel gestured towards her back where the portrait lies with her thumb, taking a quick glance back before looking at the girl.

A sudden realization came to her when the girl in front of her introduced herself, making her chuckle. That's right, introductions were forgotten again. This seems to always happen whenever she gets into a conversation which is also surprising since she does have some tendencies to be shy towards strangers. Perhaps it's because of the vibe the person has that she easily feels comfortable talking to them. "Nice to meet you. Raizel Voltrouz, first year as well." Raizel reached for the girl's hand as she introduced herself to her.

Gryffindor robes! For now...

Admitting that felt quite disappointing to not be able to uncover the real responsible for that mess of googly eyes, Ying felt quite resigned with the idea, if that meant that they could choose any target to retaliate. Although, in her mind, her wheel of thoughts was trying to figure out a way to involve more then one of the other houses, even if they don't find a way to understand whoever did that to the Fat Lady's portrait, at least they would find a way to involve all of them, increasing the possibilities for a sweet and more accurate revenge. Meaning, how would they do that? That's the question overflying her mind. There was always the possibility to interrogate older students and people from the different houses, they for sure would eventually find out who was wearing a kilt...let's be fair, that's not a common attire, at least would increase the probabilities of finding the real culprit. But who should they ask about it? Maybe Kim would know? He was the only older student in Gryffindor that she knew and had some trust to begin asking about the events. Beside him, just her brother came to her mind...would Ming know about it? Would he know "the kilt" kid? Even if so, she wasn't quite sure she wanted to call her brother's attention to the case, not if she wanted to plan a proper reply to it! Was enough that he already knew her to well! And Raizel was right, they eventually would find out the truth behind "those eyes", no need to rush into conclusions and waste precious time that is better spent in thinking about something fun to do as a response to it or as a starter for something else, and not less fun for sure!

"Nice to meet you. Raizel Voltrouz, first year as well." the girl said with a chuckle, only two Gryffindors would start planning a fun revenge before even knowing each other's names. "Nice to meet you Raizel!" Ying said with a wide smile. "I may have already a plan...but I'll need your help to figure out the details and to make things quick and preferentially without being caught!" the dark-haired girl said with a small giggle. "What do you say we prank another house's entrance? we don't know the responsible for this...but i don't see any harm in involving all houses!" She started, planning at same time she was talking. Her right hand was holding her chin in a contemplative stance,"What do you say...we could paint something at the ravens' door?...Or if...we wear green colors?" She asked with a cheeky smile and lifting her eyebrows in an almost comic expression, "Although...that would let the badgers out of the equation..." She continued returning a thoughtful expression to her face.

Raizel would ask around for anyone matching the description that the lady in the portrait had mentioned but a lot of people would definitely fall in the category of having black hair. Although, the one in a kilt would help in narrowing things down as she barely had seen anyone wearing that. Then again, she doesn't know a lot of people just yet here, much more, older students who might know more about the people attending Hogwarts. Oh well, they'll just keep those descriptions in mind. Not to mention, the ideas of retaliation that Ying had managed to think of in a short period of time intrigues her more, feeling her own excitement rising. She could already smell trouble though, but they wouldn't get into trouble if no one sees them or can't tell who they are. "Alright, I'm listening." Raizel said to Ying with a smirk on her face, crossing her arms. Her full attention was on the other Gryffindor students, fascinated by her idea in involving the other houses.

"That does sound fun. I mean, it'd be a shame if it is only our house that gets treated like this. Equal treatment for all and in the process, we might even be getting back at whoever did this." Raizel said before closing her eyes to think of ways to involve the badgers since in Ying's idea, they were indeed left out. "Dressing in green and painting the raven's door… what if we paint a badger?" She suggested. They could also add a lion too to not make it obvious that the pranksters were from Gryffindor. Leaving themselves out might just give some clues to whoever had done it to the one who had discovered the drawing. Not to mention, they'll be drawing on the Raven's door. That house is full of intuitive people that might even pass as detectives. And like Ying mentioned earlier, they need to be quick. What could help them do the deed quickly and undetected? Doing it at night would be good but then again, they have curfew and that might just end with them getting caught by a professor or a prefect.

"To be honest, I don't have any idea on how to make it quick." She admitted as she opened her eyes, cutting off her own train of thought for a bit to hear what Ying has to say. Maybe they could stick something to the door which is a lot quicker but she doesn't know any sticking spell at the moment and she doubts that she had packed stickers.

Gryffindor robes! For now...

Ying couldn't feel happier when she heard the words, "Alright, I'm listening.", coming from Raizel. She felt like she finally had found someone who speaks her language. It is okay to have some fun at the same time one works hard for good grades, after all she was still a child in a magical school! What better place to provide her with such good opportunities for entertainment? Plus, she had a really good reason to retaliate, it was a manner of pride and honor. No one messes with the lions and expects them to keep it quite!

So Ying started to make a brief sketch of ideas for their proper reply's plan. She wanted to involve all houses in it! There was no way they could be sure about the real culprit for the Fat Lady's eyes mess so they needed to make sure they wouldn't fail the retaliation leaving the real guilty house without an answer. Raizel seemed to agree with this idea, equal treatment she said, and Ying couldn't agree more with that concept. The black-haired girl lifted her eyebrows in a amused expression when her new friend suggested that they could paint a badger at the Raven's common room's door, "That's a brilliant idea Raizel! Awesome!" She stated enthusiastically. Another fair question was, how to make it work indeed... Ying paused her excitement for a while to concentrate in search for a good idea to work with, "What if we make a stencil first? You know? Like making a fast graffiti?" She asked to the brunette girl next to her, "We would need a big piece of parchment...I'll manage to get that! Can you find us the spray ink? I believe I could ask my caretaker to send it to me but I'm afraid it would be difficult to get if my parents find out my suddenly curiosity for painting arts..." she said with a little and funny grimace looking at Raizel.

Raizel was glad that Ying had found her idea good enough for their plan, making her smile. It was the best thing she could think of at the moment in trying to involve the badgers here. Can't just leave them out of this whole prank after all. Like what she mentioned earlier, equal treatment. They had come across a great challenge in this plan of theirs though and that's the method they'll be using on painting and doing the deed. It will take a lot of time if they proceed with the traditional way of waiting and that might just lead to them getting caught but it seems like Ying already has plans on that. The girl looked over to her fellow Gryffindor friend, listening as she told her the plan.

"A stencil…?" She wondered out loud. That is something that they could do. It will take a bit of preparation which means they will need to postpone their plans and do it on another day. "I think that's brilliant." She agreed with that. Sure, they won't be retaliating soon but they don't have to be quick on their revenge and better prepare, less likely they'll get caught… hopefully anyway. "I could try asking my parents although they too, might be confused on why I suddenly need a spray ink but hopefully they won't be too suspicious of it." Raizel said with a sheepish grin, scratching the back of her head. Would they conclude that she is trying something mischievous?

It does make her feel a bit guilty for causing troubles just because she is thinking of what her parents would think if they find out now that she thinks about it but, looking at the poor portrait of the fat lady once again, they at least need to get back to whoever did it. Maybe she could lay low on the pranks after that. "It'll probably take a while before it arrives though and hopefully, there is an ink spray lying around there." Raizel said to Ying. "I'll owl them later on."
