Yet another transfiguration class was coming to an end. It was noon and warm summer sunbeams lit the place and reflected off the inkwells. Everyone eagerly waited until professor Yornikovych's lecture ends and they can leave, eat lunch and rest a bit before the next set of classes. This day will never end, I swear, contemplated Angela, counting the classes she had left until she's free to do some more interesting stuff. Transfiguration, lunch, then DADA, then herbology, then history of magic...
She dutifully tried to take notes for the entire class duration, but it was so uninteresting and also kind of pointless. Everything should be in the handbook anyway - but it wasn't. The point of writing down your own notes was that you never knew when the professor mentions one crucial detail that is unexpectedly helpful, but not to be found in the book. So she wrote and wrote, until now - there was no space left on her piece of parchment, and her hand was too tired anyway.
She looked at the strange Gryffindor girl who kind of randomly sat next to her at the beginning of the class. She seemed pretty bored too.
When professor finally dismissed the class, everyone rushed to pack their things and go down to the Great Hall.
Hey, Angela said to the girl while rolling up her parchment. I haven't had the chance to introduce myself, I'm Angela. It was nice to yawn alongside you, she laughed quietly. What's your name? Are you going to lunch?

Twenty more minutes till the class ended. Aurelia's stomach grumbled. Twenty more minutes till the lunch period. There were rarely any spells taught in Transfigration and it was one of the most boring class in all of Hogwarts. Aurelia had something planned later on and was most likely going to skip lunch. She had only recently been hired to write for the Gryff post and the girl was all about finding juicy topics to write about. The fire in the blossom fest were all about in the school was something she was already writing on, after all, the boy who she invited to the ball was the one who caused the havoc in the room by getting upset over a mere insult.
However, the topic on the ball wasn't enough for the young girl. She wanted more to be put in her article. The Gryffindor girl would go as far as breaking the school rules just to find something interesting to write about in her article. She was aware that the abandoned care taker office was just near by the classroom and she might slip in to take a peek, it would be quick and she most likely wouldn't get caught.
Finally, the class was dismissed. Aurelia was stuffing the items into her bag when she heard somebody talking to her.
"I'm Aurelia, um, I'm not really very hungry," Aurelia lied. She was starving. But she couldn't have anyone to follow her if she were to sneak into the caretakers office.

It was a fellow Slytherin girl. She was seated next to her for the entire lesson but Aurelia was probably to busy taking down notes to notes.I haven't had the chance to introduce myself, I'm Angela. It was nice to yawn alongside you,

Aurelia seemed pretty uncomfortable - sad, even? - and Angela hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to try and cheer her up. Maybe there's something going on in her life that makes her upset and she would like some company. It's easier to deal with things when there's some friendly soul with you. And the lunch break looked like a perfect opportunity to chat a bit.
All right... You know what? Me too. She ate a pretty big breakfast, so whatever, she could as well stay with Aurelia. I was considering just eating an apple or something and sitting somewhere calm. This corridor here is actually pretty nice, with these big windows. I like to sit on this windowsill here. Great view. One time a professor told me to get down and that they won't put me together when I fall six floors down. But who cares, she rolled her eyes with a giggle, I've never fallen so far. We have Defence Against the Dark Arts next, right? I think it's way more interesting than Transfiguration, don't you?, she babbled, walking slowly alongside Aurelia.
Oh, and the apple, I actually have two, she recalled and started rummaging through her bag. Would you like one? We could sit here and eat. I'll even share my windowsill with you. She smiled, as if she wanted to say see, it's all fine, but Aurelia's expression was still somewhat uneasy. What's wrong? Sorry, am I talking too much? Are you all right?
