Closed "Growing Pains" pv Oliver Brown

This month has been really hectic lately. I think that Valentine's Day and all the love in the air had gotten to me recently, and I just needed a break. What better place to go than the Grounds, the place where everything happens? And one of my favorite places to be, the place where I can finally get a break. Or not. Apparently, every time I go to the Grounds, I'm never truly alone. Somebody is always there or happens to show up. It seems that a lot of people like the Grounds. I checked around to see if anyone was there. No? Oh, finally. I was glad that I had time to myself. It would be nice if I stopped looking around at every boy I met all the time, for two simple reasons: One, it was distracting. Very distracting. And number two, I was not about to have a crush on somebody again, because they were only temporary. Bliss for one moment, and then you're yeeted back into reality the minute you realize it's not worth fussing over. Of course, that may not be true for everybody. But it was certainly true for me. I decided to stay seated on my spot in the grass, until dark, deep in my thoughts. It was a very good way to release my thoughts, a bit like meditation. I hadn't realized that my eyes had been closed until I opened one of them, only to see a figure nearby. It looked like a boy to me. At that, I sighed and closed my eyes again. I finally opened them after a minute and cupped my hands around my mouth, yelling, "Hey! What are you doing out here on the Grounds?" I cringed at the sound of my own voice. Ouch. I sighed and returned to my "meditating".
