Study Buddies
@Oliver Brown @Benjamin Detmerr
It's an ordinary day. Cassie is sitting inside the study room. She is here because she realized the other day that she had never been to the second floor. Today, with curiosity, she brought her Transfiguration Homework here.
This is an unfamiliar place to Cassie, she picked a seat and sat down. It's quiet, all you can hear is the noise of quills scratching on parchment and the turning sound of pages. She took out her homework and dips her quill in ink. She started writing, joining the quills' sound around. She somehow likes this place, for it's quieter than the library or her common room. She can focus more easily on her homework.
Very soon she meets a question she can't answer. So she has to take out her notes. Just as she is lifting her elbow, she knocked off the ink!
Black ink is spilling everywhere on the ground, ans some on her parchment paper. She screamed, and nearly everyone look at her. Now what should I do? She thinks, she feels like crying. She has no tissue around and she can't do anything. If she is leaving the seat she would step on the ink and even slip. She is stuck on her seat.
This is perhaps her worst moment in her life!

Study Buddies
Ben knew the study room's entrance, but never entered it. Of course, he did peek a few times, but it did not seem interesting. The room reminded Ben of the library, with no bookshelves. And that sucked out the excitement of the room. But his transfiguration homework made sure he did go to the room. Now, as Ben went further into the room. It was clear that there were people around. Of course, nobody showed off their wands or talked excitedly about the next quidditch match, but you could figure out that there were people around, even if you were blind. There was nothing on Ben's mind except his homework, of course. He did not worry that he was going to be clumsy. If he had a stack of books, he already would have bumped into a table, spilt somebody's ink, and he would have been apologizing now. But he just had a book, and his bag had scrolls, quills and an ink bottle. There is no way he was going to be clumsy. That's when he heard a noise. That was a sound coming from something clumsy. Looking towards the direction of the sound, he saw a girl who was stuck to her sheet, visibly confused and embarrassed. But the pool of ink was the only thing that Ben's eyes latch onto. His instincts kind in. He rushed towards the table, opened his backpack and took out two scrolls. He then spread the scrolls, so the majority of the ink was covered with brown paper. As the scrolls slowly absorbed the ink, he said to the girl, without looking at her. "No need to worry, I'll help. That is one nasty spill. Sometimes, the spill may surround you, so you may be stuck. As of now, you can continue with your studies." Then he smiled. He correctly predicted the situation. Because he was in the same place countless times. Ben looked around. No dustbin. So, he took out a small pouch and zipped it open. It was a mess. Because it was Ben's portable dustbin. He dumped the now heavy scrolls into the pouch. They were dripping with ink. He got up. "That's it. Now, anybody can walk without slippin- Woahahahahaaaaaa!" He slipped. And fell. On the ground. On his butt backside. He sighed. Of course, that would happen. He knew that one day without any clumsiness was too good to be true. There was no way the universe was going to let him end his clumsiness streak. "Anyways," he said, getting up, I'm Benjamin Detmerr. You can call me Ben." That nickname was too common. He decided to try something. " Or Bendett. Or anything else you like." He sat down down opposite the girl and smiled. "So, can we discuss and do our work, or are we just going to pretend nothing exists except us and our homework?"
