> An old story book
It was a sunny but chilly day. The bright sunshine glinted off the lake and illuminated the landscape with its warm glow. Despite the sun, the air still held a crisp chill that made people pull their coats tightly around themselves for extra warmth. Birds sang in the trees as they flitted from branch to branch searching for food. Reuben was eager to finally stretch his leg after a long week of classes and studying - not caring much for the cold that nipped at his cheeks; evident by his get-up. He adored the outdoors and often lamented how little he spends outside the castle.

He decided it was the perfect day to aimlessly wander around the Grounds and have a little adventure, at least initially. He sauntered around taking in the breathtaking view that was the Scottish Highlands; from the Great Lake to the eerie glow of the Forbidden Forest, not to mention the grand Hogwarts castle itself. I should find somewhere to sit for a bit - Reuben thought to himself still mesmerised by the same landscape he's seen a number of times by now. He's brought his favourite novel with him. He was anticipating having a chance to unwind in nature with a good book.

Reuben glanced around as he spotted a cluster of trees he could huddle up under and with that, he was off. He enthusiastically strode across the glistening field of grass and tiny shrubs, still coated in the morning dew.

He settled underneath the closest tree, opening his bag and eagerly grabbing his book. The sun beamed down on him, providing enough warmth to counter the cool air that continued to nip at his cheeks. It was just what Reuben had hoped for; a peaceful retreat from studying surrounded by nature's beauty. He felt his troubles slowly slipping away with each passing minute as he read, losing himself in another world within the pages of his beloved novel. Every now and again, Reuben would look up to appreciate the view; rolling hills covered with colourful wildflowers, distant mountains towering high into the sky. The atmosphere was serene, allowing Reuben to fully relax as he read on through the pages. As he finished the chapter, he couldn't help but smile.

At the same time, he realized he had been sitting still for too long. He got up and stretched his legs, taking in the beautiful scenery around him. He turned around and shot a quick glance at the lake. Reuben felt the urge to move and decided to take a peaceful stroll by the lake. He quickly grabbed his backpack and hastily placed his book inside. With that, he flung it on his shoulder and began walking in the direction of the Great Lake.
