Jakoby was adjusting to being the Owner of the Leaky Cauldron quite well. He loved it actually. It kept him busy and distracted. Thus leaving him with no time to think about his past and all the things he usually dwelled over when he had the time. In fact at the end of the day Jakoby was so tired he usually just stumbled into bed and crashed until he heard the sound of a bell signaling him that a customer needed his attention.

It was a full time job indeed but it was exactly what he needed. He was thankful he was given this opportunity. He loved meeting all the customers that came in. He loved knowing that all these people from all walks of life came here to just enjoy themselves and have fun.

His favorite customers though were the students from Hogwarts. He loved hearing their stories. He loved knowing that Hogwarts was still just as amazing as when he went there. He especially loved knowing these children that were in school there know were the future of the wizarding world. With the ones that he had met he was confident it was going to continue to be a wonderful place.
