Observe: notice or perceive (something) and register it as being significant.
I might be Clumsy and all over the place but I'm not paranoid....well maybe a little bit but that's not the point, I know my cousin Serenity wants to bond with me and get to know me, but I just want to be dramatic and say a bit about her family's relationship with mine.
She is my cousin on my grandfather's side of the family we don't talk to that part of the family for a number of reasons. Her side of the family has....secrets they would like to keep under wraps.
My father hasn't really communicated with anyone on grandfather's side of the family in a very long time.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to bond with her and tell her about my one friend and many acquaintances along with the kind letter I got from a very sweet person, but I would like to observe her and her interactions with students and teachers.
I may come off a bit rude and vague but it's only because I don't want to get too close just in case she turns out to be less than pleasant. I don't like getting my hopes up for nothing.
