Strength and Justice

Margaux seeks refuge. She can no longer be alone. She can be tough in front of Smith, strutting around in the halls of Hogwarts, but she can’t fight alone.

She always crushed others to rise higher. Despite the advice of others, she did what she felt was right. For justice without force is powerless.

She just forgot that without justice, force is brutal, and without justice, you don’t do what’s right. She has always learned to defeat by force. Does justice have value without someone to push it?
La justice sans force est contredite, parce qu'il y a toujours des méchants.
Maybe she’s one of the bad guys. Maybe she’s only fighting to fight. For this hatred that grows within her, that implodes, that destroys everything in her path. She hates her world. She kills the world of others.

It does not find its balance. Wanting to do justice, it contradicts it. Because it confuses justice and revenge. Is revenge just?

Margaux wants us to understand her. So she’s being mean. Everyone knows that we don’t attack for no reason. Then why isn’t anyone asking why? Why is she doing this? If no one is looking, no one will understand it. You can never be better than yourself. She always said that she was satisfied, that she didn’t need anyone. She was wrong. All her life, she devoted her love to hatred, when she could give it to someone.

She sends her SOS, her cry of distress, alone, to her abandoned toilet. She waits. Perhaps her angel will come. He. Or she.

Strength and Justice

The abandoned toilets were becoming a more frequent place of visit for Ebony.
The bottling emotions were becoming too much for her. Lust, joy, sorrow, hatred, vengeance. She didn't know what to do with these words, these feelings, that were popping out of her only to be put back in. Confined in her. And she was becoming so full of these emotions she was going to burst. Snap. She can no longer be strong and void of emotion as she portrays herself to be. Was it her loneliness? She didn't know. It was all new for her, turning into somebody with feelings instead of being empty as she has been for so many years, since she was a young child.
She was loved, yes, but with the many years of being picked on, torn down, she set up a wall. And now, she had a naturally angry, icy behaviour. And it was because of the past. But she was in the present, and she can no longer cope with being an overflowed jar.
And so, naturally, Ebony seeked refuge. The abandoned toilets. It was almost always empty, though not the most sanitary. Though who was she to worry about cleanliness now? It was a time of need, a time of a place to stay, a heaven. The toilets... are dirty. But safe. It made a decent heaven. She needed a break.
Stumbling into the abandoned toilets, she practically collapsed onto the hard floor. But when she looked up, she didn't expect to see someone already there.
