While her father was still moving around quite a bit Marceline was commonly left with her grandparents on her father's side. This was to make sure that she wasn't in the way of moving things, as she was quite clingy at this stage. Amias made sure to constantly visit his child, nicknamed Chickadee thanks to her size, but hated to leave. Thanks to Marceline figuring this out, one day before he left they seemed to have a full breakdown. No one could get in or out of the house for a few hours till they tired themself out from crying. That was the second to last time they moved before finally settling.

Backstory
Reducio
Marceline was born late in the night on the seventeenth of June. Though it was at the cost of another life as Evelyn Gavia had lost her life giving birth to her first and only child. Amias Gavia, the father and now only caretaker, was quick to begin caring for his daughter. Being a wizard himself and with his now late wife also having been a witch, Amias knew the possibility of his daughter being one. They were never treated any differently besides some protective tendencies on her father's part. They began to move around quite a bit before Marceline showed her first instance of magic. Afterward, Amias made the decision to settle in Queensbury to make sure they were close enough to Hogwarts. They've lived there with a quiet life ever since, being close as can be as a father and daughter.

While her father was still moving around quite a bit Marceline was commonly left with her grandparents on her father's side. It wasn't too much longer before Marceline turned eleven and received their letter to Hogwarts. Before then it had just been the two of them, and Marceline didn't have the easiest time making friends. Both were hoping she could make a new start at the wizarding school. Eventually, they'd fall into a friend group and enjoy their time there. Before she left the two made sure to spend time together. Hesitant the first day she had to leave, but also excited.

Appearance

Marceline stands around four feet and nine inches while she weighs around 97 pounds or about 44 kilograms. Her body type is a rectangle shape, while she's wiry. Meaning she's thin but also rather strong. Their dark brown hair is short and curly, just barely reaching her shoulders along the back. She also has dark brown eyes with tanned skin. Marceline doesn't typically wear anything special, but she does wear a bracelet her father made for her as an anklet. She'll grow steadily from this point.

Personality
Reducio
Marceline is known as someone who’s always been rather stubborn. She sticks to her own ideals and thoughts, and it can be difficult to sway her, though it can certainly happen. She doesn’t strive for perfection but she does strive for pride, from both her father and hopefully her mother. She’s quite kind and supportive, offering whatever she can to those closet to her in an attempt to make sure they’re happy and taken care of. However she doesn’t seem to be a motherly type, rather just someone who wants to look out for those around her. She also has quite a mouth on her, which seems to make up for whatever she lacks in height currently. They're jumpy and commonly result to defense when startled.
