The young man was quite grateful as he prepared to embark on the most challenging and important voyage. He was anxious about beginning afresh in a new school and meeting new people. He had no idea if it would be courteous or not. There were a lot of things to do when Ashley and his grandma visited Diagon Alley.
They needed to purchase a number of items to ensure that Ashley had all the equipment listed in the letter he had received and that he also had everything on the list. Ashley had been told about a place that he thought fascinating, and that place had to be Ollivanders.
In search of a wand for themselves, every witch and wizard of the generation entered the store. Who among us wasn't eager to discover what their chosen wand was? Ashley expected Ollivander's shop to be as magical as the wands he had offered there, so he was a little taken aback to discover that it was set out in a way that he would typically describe as "messy."
The only thing in the little, empty store seemed to be a wobbly chair in the corner. Moreover, there were Narrow boxes stacked to the point of the ceiling. There were wands, a type of magical instrument, inside each box. A semi-sentient conduit through which each wizard and witch directs their magic in order to focus the effects for more intricate outcomes. Until the user, each wand was distinct, intricate, and different.
"It was true that not all witches and wizards had the same kind of wands." Mr. Ollivander interrupted Ashley's train of thought. "Well, hi there. I apologize for my behavior." Ashley spoke with composure.
Mr. Ollivander was seen moving toward one of his stacked stacks of wands while apparently hunting for something appropriate for the young kid." Try out this ten inch Chestnut and unicorn hair wand right here."
Mr. Ollivander gave Ashley the ten-inch chestnut wand, assuming it was some sort of trial-and-error experiment where he had to see what works best for the lad. A fiery hue that was aggressively projected from the wand with just one wave, striking Mr. Ollivander's glass and smashing it into tiny particles of glasses. Ashley was regretful and ashamed because the outcome was completely different from what he had anticipated. " I'm really sorry, and I'll fix that." He made the offer. But, Mr. Ollivander politely declined the offer despite being aware of what was going on. "Do not be frightened; it happens commonly. The wizard is chosen by the wand, Mr" He held off. "Montez." Ashley responded. "Indeed, Mr. Montez. When the wand is the best fit for you, you'll know it. Give it some time."
Ashley sighed as a tremendous weight was removed from his shoulders. Ashley received a new wand from Mr. Ollivander, this time a 13.5-inch beech wood and Phoenix feather model. For the young wizard, the outcomes were same. He was unable to discover the ideal wand that he could completely wield. He was even starting to feel worried since he believed he would not discover the ideal wand for him.
Mr. Ollivender quickly handed over new wand; this one was a 32.1 cm aspen wood and dragon heartstring wand. The young man immediately felt a strong connection with the wand and experienced sudden warmth in his fingertips. "You have been chosen by the wand to be the master, Mr. Montez. Despite how sophisticated it sounds, I have a sneaking suspicion that I have seen you before."
Ashley was confused by what Mr. Ollivender had stated and unsure of how to interpret the entire event since this was his first visit to Diagon Alley. "Maybe you mistook me for someone else, sir," the young lad responded. "Oh, absolutely. Maybe." the old man's response was unsettling. Mr. Ollivander questioned how a wand could select the same person twice. Or perhaps there was something going on, but nobody knew what. He made the decision to rub it off and educate the boy about his wand.
"Aspen, Mr. Montez. What you currently have was made of that wood. White and fine-grained, wand-quality aspen wood is widely prized by all wand-makers for its chic similarity to ivory and its typically excellent charmwork. I see, there is no way we can ever not hope for the best from you."
He took a brief pause before deciding to proceed. "wand core Dragon heartsring I see a good combo. Wands made from dragon heartstrings had the highest strength and could cast the most extravagant spells. Dragon wands had a tendency to pick things up faster than other kinds. They always developed a close attachment with the current owner, despite the fact that they may switch allegiance if freed from their former master. Although it would not naturally lean in that direction, the dragon wand has a tendency to be the easiest to use for Dark Arts. Being rather temperamental, it was also the most prone to accidents of the three cores. The drawback of this type of wand is that it can be wooed if you are sluggish during a duel. It also prefers wizards who are active."
Ashley was transfixed by Mr. Ollivander's words."You made a comment, sir, about the wand turning to use dark arts too easily. Kindly describe what that means." Ashley grew more curious by the minute. "While I have lived and watched and am now able to understand most things, it is not within my expertise to describe such things. Every question you have can have an answer when you proceed with your journey since what you see is what you get. Montez, Mr. I'm just a regular wand maker with a lot of experience. Even before you were born, I remember what I have sold and I am aware of what was sold. I had before questioned whether I knew you or not. Although you seem familiar, you come across as smarter and more determined to learn."
Although Ashley was still perplexed by what the man had stated, his regular way of thinking led him to assume that it was simply old age and that he would never have purchased the same wand twice. He had absolutely nothing in common with either his mother or father.
and they had passed away. Ashley dismissed the idea and made the decision to say goodbye to Mr. Ollivander. Meeting him and engaging in such chats was pleasant. He bid him farewell and expressed the desire of seeing him again.
"How is it possible for someone to visit my store twice after an hour has passed without buying a wand and still locate a suitable wand that chooses him as the owner?
First, 26,9 cm pear wood and rougarou hair wand was bought and now a 32.1 cm aspen wood dragon heartstring and still, he still found the owner. He also seems bewildered about being here and seems to have changed his attire huh?. Only fate could determine." Mr. Ollivender mused to himself as he rested his aging body on a cozy chair.
Ashley leaves the Ollivanders: Manufacturers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C. store.
