Finished A New Start solo

The morning sun was streaming through the station's vast windows, bathing the platform in a comforting golden light. Althea suddenly felt a warm ray of sunlight on her face. A sense of peace washed over her as if the sun was offering its reassurance for her upcoming journey. Althea felt her mood lift as she trailed after her tutor, Mme Odette, who strode purposefully towards platform 9 ¾.

They stood behind a line of four wizarding families taking turns to step through the wall. As Althea waited, she observed the hustle and bustle of the muggles around her. Some were milling about, waiting for a loved one's arrival or navigating the crowd to catch their next train.

She wondered how none paid a glance at the line of families in unique clothing urging their children to run headfirst toward a brick wall. Perhaps there's a charm that dissuades muggles from noticing this area? Her thoughts shifted to her little sister, Elira, who would be racking her brain to figure out the charm's intricacies.

Althea sighed quietly, thinking about their goodbye at their grandparent's house. Elira had squeezed Althea tightly and looked up with teary eyes. She pleaded with Althea to never forget her and to owl her letters whenever possible. Althea chuckled and embraced back, promising to do so. Then, before stepping through the floo, she told her sister to look forward to her return for the holidays.

Althea snapped out of her musings from the feel of Mme Odette's slender, manicured hand on her shoulder. They were next in line. Mme Odette asked if she had everything she needed. To which Althea nodded firmly. She packed her trunk days ago and double-checked everything last night.

With that, the family ahead of them passed through the wall. It was their turn now. Althea took a deep breath to quell any lingering doubts. Then, with a burst of confidence, she ran past the magical barrier.
