I am a sucky person apparently a girl I have been seeing in the halls for about 2 days is my distant cousin. I asked around and their name is Azrael White and has the pronouns they/them.

They don't have many friends and the only person they've actively been acknowledged as friends with is a boy who's name I don't know. Now I'm roaming the halls trying to find them.

I'm not a clumsy person but I ran into someone and I staggered a bit but I stayed standing, I cannot say the same for the person.

I know I shouldn't be happy about someone possibly being hurt by me bumping into them but I've finally found the 'mystery' relative, they look a bit miffed but nonetheless seems not injured.

"I'm so sorry my head was in the clouds and I got distracted.", I said kind of confused how I didn't see them when I was looking straight forward. "It's fine nothing I can't handle.", they said standing up.

Wait a minute am I dreaming or are they short like really short, how did I miss how short they are. "I hear you've been asking about me." Great they know I've been acting like a stalker.

"We're related!", I said a bit louder than intended. Nothing shocked me more then when they said they already know. "Why didn't you say anything?"

"I'm usually straight forward but I wanted you to speak to me first dear cousin.", I detect a very obvious hint of amusement and sarcasm in the last two words. I like them already.

"Does this conversation mean we're acquaintances?", I asked. "Possibly."

They waked away after that really vague statement. Game on Azrael.
