Erin shook her head awake. It wasn't her fault that Transfiguration was confusing and History of Magic was... well... boring. But she needed to stay awake and at least try to understand the material before her. Turning the page of A History of Magic, Erin settled in to reading the next chapter. That is, for about two minutes before she felt herself nodding off again. "How does anyone read this stuff," Erin thought to herself quietly, lightly tapping her cheeks before setting down the book in defeat.

"Well that's proven to be no help," Erin thought to herself, staring at the book. "Perhaps I should find something actually interesting," Erin pondered quietly before quickly packing up her things from the small table and heading to a nearby bookshelf to peruse. Erin stopped in front of an old, particularly dusty book. "Rulers Per Continent," Erin read quietly to herself. "No wonder no one's picked this up in ages," She chuckled to herself with a nod. Continuing on, Erin read off the names of more interesting books to herself. "Constructions of the North," "Men of the Decade," "Populations of the East," Erin shook her head to herself. "No wonder kids are falling asleep in here! Give me something interesting sheesh."

Erin walked quietly up and down what felt like endless rows of ancient literature, history, and science books before spotting something even mildly intriguing to her. "Now, what are you?" Erin murmured quietly to herself, walking up to a bright blue and yellow book. "Curse of the Mist," Erin read to herself. "Now, you're an interesting thing aren't you?" She grinned, standing on the tops of her toes to pluck the book from the shelf.
