Fictional character
"It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me" as Taylor Swift sings in her song Anti-Hero. Sara has always felt like the anti-hero in her own story, in her own life. She's always felt like she is too much or too little. She sometimes even questioned if her friends (and maybe even family) love her at all or if they just tolerate her bc they feel sorry for her. She wonders if her family adopted her because they really liked her or just because they felt sorry for her.
Despite all that, she didn't hate her life, or herself, but she didn't quite much love it. She always wanted to be somebody else. Somebody braver, stronger, wiser, smarter. Yet she was just a kid. And sometimes, it was just too much for her. She wanted to be a fictional character, an adventurer - because when something happens in fiction, stays in fiction. If she was a character in a book, she would feel safe to explore the world and be more open to experience, without facing any real consequences. She sometimes just wanted to get out of her head. Sometimes, it was just too many thoughts in her mind. She hated the way she thought sometimes. She just wished she could jump out of her skin and float around in free space for some time. She just wanted some peace. When her mind (and mood) got in that "emo era", she turned to books. Poems, fiction, anything. Just for the thoughts to go away.
And it worked. For a while...
But maybe, just maybe, she needed somebody to get her out, out of her head, out of her thoughts. Somebody bolder, stronger, more assertive than her.
...
Sara was sitting here for some time, all alone, trapped in her own thoughts.
Is somebody gonna come and save me from myself?

Fictional character
Freya may not be the biggest fan of reading or studying or school in general but she still has always had a soft spot for fantasy and fiction.
That could be because of her Aunt Amara who would read stories to all the kids at bedtime. She'd gather them all in her huge personal library and tell them stories and would chat with them about life in general.
The kids adored it and almost all of them read and write, but not Freya. It takes a lot for her to read.
Somehow today shee decides to finally stand up to her house name and at least try and read a book.
She puts on a black and white shirt on top of a black tank top and heads out the door and to the school grounds.
Freya finally reached the grounds and takes a deep breath and relaxed herself thinking "how bad could it really be?"
Right when she was about to walk towards her favourite spot she saw a girl with brown hair staring off somewhere looking lost?
Freya furrows her eyebrows and walks towards her hoping she's okay.
She knows the girl looks familiar but can't exactly point out why?
She reaches where she's sitting and says, "hey! Are you okay?"

Fictional character
Sara was still in her thoughts and in her feels. She was ruminating on how she was trying to say something in Potions class today, but some other student, more assertive and vocal than her, said the same answer as she wanted to. She tried to shake it off, not feel the shame and feeling of not being good enough connected to that event. She didn't (or did she!?) want to wallow in a pit of shame and all the negative feelings that sometimes wrapped her head, like a dark cloud.
So she was there alone, trapped in her own thoughts.
Then she heard some footsteps and decided to pretend to read a book, but maybe it was too late and whoever was coming, saw her looking in the distance. That could be embarrassing... Sara thought to herself. The steps were coming closer. Who could that be... Sara whispered. A few moments later she found out that her accidental visitor is a brown-haired girl, probably also a first-year. She was looking at her with furrowed eyebrows and her dark-brown eyes. She had a slightly concerned expression on her face. She asked Sara if she was okay.
Sara didn't know what to say. Obviously, she was, in a way, sad. Lost in negative thoughts.
But what is the point of pouring your heart (and mind) out to a stranger?
"Ahh..." Sara sighed "Well, not really. I don't think you want to listen about it, really. It's kinda stupid... All the thoughts that are troubling me..." she didn't want for her negative thoughts to depress her new acquaintance.
"Can you just be here so I am not alone?" Sara asked, miserably not wanting to be alone and hoping the girl would stay with her, at least for a little while.

Fictional character
Freya notices how sad she appears to be and wants to help her however she can! So she sits down criss cross next to her and keeps her book down and says
"That's okay, i understand" she smiles and continues "I feel that way too sometimes, but know that no problems are stupid!"
Freya never likes it when someone disregards their feelings just because the roots of those feelings they consider stupid.
"how long have you been sitting here? Did you get something to eat? I have some candies on me if you'd like?"
She asks putting her hand in her flannel pocket in order to get a couple candies and begins talking wayy too much as usual.
"i love candies! They're so sweet and tasty! Especially these!" she says taking out Hershey's kisses and holding them out infront of her.
"Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself! I'm Freya Augustus First year Ravenclaw, you are?"
She introduces herself excitedly and asks for her name. She thinks she's seen the brown haired girl somewhere before but can't exactly out her finger as to where.
"If you don't like these candies don't hesitate to tell me! I've got so many different kinds!"
She exclaimed putting the kisses down and searching her pockets for other candies.
"That's okay, i understand" she smiles and continues "I feel that way too sometimes, but know that no problems are stupid!"

"That's okay, I understand. I feel that way too sometimes, but know that no problems are stupid!" the girl sat next to her and said these kind and reassuring words. But Sara was sad and maybe wanted to stay sad... Or maybe she wanted to be comforted by somebody, to help her process her feelings, by her new friend - or just anybody actually. She sometimes felt so lonely.
The girl interrupted her train of thought: "How long have you been sitting here? Did you get something to eat? I have some candies on me if you'd like?" I've been here for a while... I like to be in nature when I feel like this. It helps me calm down. At least I think..." Sara shrugged with a slightly sad expression on her face. Tears were coming back again to her eyes. She was trying with all the strength she had at the moment to stop them. She couldn't stand a person to see her cry. "And candies would be great, thanks! When I didn't bring anything to eat for myself... And I have to say I love candy, especially chocolate!" she smiled weakly at the girl, lowering her gaze to the ground. "I'm Sara Arnez, by the way. A first-year, of course." she introduced herself and offered her new potential friend a handshake as she looked the girl in the eyes. (It may be a bit unusual for an 11-year-old, but here we are...) "And you are?"
"And thanks for the candies!" she smiled. At last, she smiled. Maybe her new friend will be able to cheer her up. At least a little bit.
