Finished Onwards to Hogwarts Solo

"Deep breaths... Deep breaths..."

Nervous, very nervous. Ever since they had left home and bought everything that she needed for the school that she'll be going to, Raizel's nervousness remained, not once did it ever disappear nor was she distracted enough to forget it on their journey to Platform 9 3/4. It became more prominent when they had finally reached their destination. She stood there in front of a solid wall, her hands on the trolley full of her luggage and other necessities that she'll need during her time in the wizarding boarding school. She doesn't know why she is feeling this way. Perhaps the excitement of finally going to a place where she could learn magic is getting to her? Or the fact that she'll be away from where she grew up, away from her parents? Maybe all of that. Not to mention, meeting new people, now that's something to worry about.

"Honey." A sweet voice from behind her called out, the young girl turning around, letting go of the trolley and locked eyes with a middle-aged woman with long black hair, holding a young boy who's about four years old. Raizel was staring straight into the woman's brown eyes with her own pair, that nervousness noticeable to the older one, making her smile. "You'll be fine. Isn't that right Ravi?"

"That's right." A man soon joined them, fixing up his coat and messy brown hair before giving the young girl a pat on the head, lowering down to match her eye level and holding on to her shoulders. "You'll do great in school Rai, and Michelle and I will be sending you letters."

"Okay." Raizel responded with a nod, looking at both of her parents before giving her cheeks a light slap to snap out of her trance. She took another deep breath, the unnerving feeling slowly disappearing thanks to her parents' assuring words. She turned around, putting her hand on the handlebar of the trolley and gripping it hard.

"Run if you have to. It'll fight off the nerves some more." Her father gave her a tip.

"Here I go then." Raizel pulled back a bit before breaking into a spring, pushing the cart as much as she could and going straight through the solid wall. The people around didn't even give her a glance when she had completely disappeared into it. Once she had stopped on her tracks when she reached the other end, she began to take in the sight of the station, the train giving a couple of honks, signifying that it was ready to go. Looking behind her, she saw her parents coming out of the magic entrance to the station. She was glad that her family came to see her off.

"C'mon, don't want to get left behind now, do you?" Ravi reminded the young one, giving her a side hug before helping her push the trolley towards the entrance to the train. Raizel remained quiet during the walk, just letting herself take in what's happening, letting it sink in into her mind.

"Don't get into trouble now." Michelle reminded their daughter as she followed behind the two. "Your father was quite a troublemaker during his time in Hogwarts."

"In a way." Ravi admitted with a chuckle. "I was rebellious during those times and spent time in detention at some point. Those days were fun though. Hogwarts made me feel so free."

"Sounds like you had too much fun." Raizel remarked with a soft giggle.

"I think I had."

With the time of departure nearing, the young girl boarded the train, watched as some of her things got loaded into it. She gave her parents one last glance, running up to them to give them a hug and then holding her brother's hand.

"Bye bye." Her little brother said with a wave of his hand.

"Yeah. Wish me luck." Raizel said back before running inside the train, giving them a wave before the train departed for the wizarding school. The nerves were coming back once more but she shook her head so she won't think about that for the rest of the journey. She'll be fine, she'll do her best. After all, she had been waiting for this. The chance to finally learn what she loves and that's magic.
