Erin popped through the wall on the other side of Platform 9 3/4 with her parents following shortly behind her. She looked back and chuckled as she saw her father share her same expression of amusement and curiosity looking around the station. Erin's mother shook her head slightly and gave a slight chuckle as she nudged Erin along through the crowded station. Erin held on tight to her cart, being pushed primarily by her father, and once again found herself staring in awe at the bustling station full of students, parents, grandparents, and others looking to make their way to Hogwarts for the upcoming year. "Momma, were will I sit?" Erin stuttered, staring at the long train and it's many cars. "I'm sure you'll find a nice place to sit, My Love," Erin's mother replied calmly, weaving both Erin and her father through the crowd. It felt like ages before Erin's mother finally came to a stop in front of one of the cars.

"Alright, My Love, it's time to board," Erin's mother said excitedly, kneeling beside her. "Now remember, your father and I are always an owl away. You're a social little butterfly so I know you will have no trouble meeting some new classmates on your way to Hogwarts. Just promise me you won't give your professors a hard time," Erin's father chuckled at her mother's words. "Oh, Aislin, you know our little bird's curiosity will get the better of her!" Erin chuckled and nodded slightly. "I will certainly try, Momma, but Dad had a point!" Erin's mother shook her head slightly with a smile. "I guess that's as good of a promise I'll get out of ya. Now go on, up you go," with a steady hand, Erin's father helped to lift her into the entrance of the cart, handing her bags to the nearby train worker. Erin hugged her father tightly and waved to her mother before backing further into the train car.

Erin walked down the small corridor, looking into cabins that were already brimming with students eager to begin the journey to Hogwarts. She finally settled on an empty cabin and settled next to the seat before quickly opening the window to search for her parents one last time. She searched the crowd for what seemed like hours before spotting her mother's small, yellow hat just as the train let out a loud whistling noise and slowly began to creak forward. "MOMMA!" Erin yelled loudly, waving frantically out the window in an attempt to get her parents' attention. As the train picked up speed, Erin saw her mother and father turn to her and, with large, proud smiles, waved and blew kisses back to her. Brimming with pride, Erin tucked herself back into the cabin, shut the door, and began to read her book she had borrowed from her Grandmother, Phantoms of the Sea. "This is going to be such an adventure!" Erin thought as she dove into the book.
