Description of the problem:

Not all of your menu links are being accurately read by narrator and some don't have text tags at all. For example: When my mouse hovers over the Hogwarts banner nothing is fed to my braille display and the text tags to the sub-links that do read are reading off the actual link and it does not always tell me the link label. I have to actually keep notes on what some of the links go to. It may help to turn on the windows screen narrator and turn on read and interact with your screen using a mouse. That is what is communicated to me.

Thank you for all your help thus far. I look forward to being able to access this content more independently in the future and I am happy to help with whatever I can to help with!

I'm saving up for a braille mouse so that I can have more tactile feedback as I move my mouse over the screen!

Keep up the awesome work! I absolutely love this site and am thankful to have a place to interact with other people in a story setting.

Hello and Welcome to Hio!

May I ask whether is your browser access updated and what type of browser/web access do you use?

Check Here!

Note that the staff will be able to give proper clarity on the issue.

I was using Microsoft Edge but I went ahead and downloaded Firefox so I can use it with this site. This clears up many of the issues!

I still do not get a text tag over the Hogwarts banner or the owl envelope.

This is already much better. Thank you for reminding me about the Firefox browser.

Hello.

I think it’s really inspiring that you are using this site despite being blind. I believe this is more of a suggestion instead of an issue, and we have a thread just for that. viewtopic.php?t=15378

Some ideas would require a lot of coding and our coder Zach is already very busy, so while we would try our best to be more accessible, they might not rewrite code for just one person.
