The first quidditch match I saw
We headed for the London Quidditch Stadium. I was going with my father. We had come a long way from our little village next to Kilkenny to London. My mother and sister hadn't come because they don't like quidditch very much. But me and my dad do, and living in a small town far from London is sometimes inconvenient. I had never been able to see a quidditch match live. But for my 7th birthday I had been given two wonderful tickets to the Chudley Cannons match against the Bulgarian Quidditch team. We were going with the Chudley Cannons of course. When we arrived there were already a lot of people waiting for the match to start. We bought some food and popcorn to watch the game and made our way to the stands. When the whistle finally blew to start the game I was very excited. The game was very interesting and close and it seemed like they were trying so hard to give me a perfect birthday present, although I obviously knew that wasn't the case. In the end they won 270 to 250. All of us fans made our way to the exit to leave the stadium. I tugged on my dad's sleeve. I told him to see if we could get an autograph from one of the players. My father a normally shy man but when he is with me he is very daring I think of a way to sneak into the locker room. We disguised ourselves as letter carriers and pretended we had a package for the captain. They let us pass, I think the guama smelled that we were not mailmen but that we wanted an autograph but he was very nice and didn't say anything. We went inside the building assigned to the players and looked for the players. We found them easily. They were all very nice and signed my briefcase with the quidditch equipment that Santa had given me. After a while we said goodbye to everyone and headed to the Leaky Cauldron for the night.
When we returned home and explained our experience to my mother and sister. They were not very impressed but my father and I knew how special it had been that weekend.
