A study... Friend?
Harper loved her life at Hogwarts but the only problem was that she wasn't the best at some of the classes. One of those classes was Charms. She could do Herbology, that was her favorite, but when it came to Charms she just struggled.
She sighed as she took a seat in an area sort of away from others. She went there with the intention to study Charms, but she found that shortly after she sat down she was instead buried in a book.
Perhaps all she needed was a new perspective from someone else. She had her charms textbooks and notebooks splayed out around her. She had picked up the homework the other day and gotten it partly done, but stopped because she was frustrated with it. So, she had ended up putting it away and had every intention to return to it. She hoped that the new perspective after a break would help, but it honestly just made her have the same problem she was having before.
After a moment of reading she took a deep breath and talked quietly out loud to herself. "Alright Harper... I know that you don't like Charms... But you need to get this done. You don't want to ruin your 'E' grade average because of one class." She mumbled with a frustrated tone.

A study... Friend?
After a tough day in Potions, Charlotte walked into the study room, fully intent on studying her potions textbook until she made sense of all the confusion Professor Regan was teaching them. Charlotte walked to her favorite seat and sat down. It was not in the back, not in the middle, and not near the door. Just there. Kind of like her.
Charlotte looked around and noticed another girl, maybe older than her, sitting reading a book that did not appear to be... she squinted her eyes a little and noticed the Charms textbook. Maybe she was doing Charms? But the book she was doing- Charlotte stopped herself and forced her attention back to the Potions book in her lap. Charlotte was always doing stuff like this - getting off track.
After a couple minutes, Charlotte began hearing mumbling. She looked up and around, trying to find where the noise was originating from. Her brows furrowed when she realized it was coming from the girl she had been looking at earlier. Charlotte packed up her things slowly and hesitantly walked over to the girl, "Er, hi! Do you want any help?" She asked, pointing at the girl's abandoned homework and textbook.

A study... Friend?
Harper was shocked to hear a voice speak. She couldn't help but wonder 'Were they talking to her?' She looked to see a girl who looked a tad bit younger than her. Perhaps she was a first-year. She nodded her head in response to the girls question. She was asking if she needed help, which was a definite yes because she was terrible at charms.
"Yes... actually, I do, I am ashamed to admit Charms is not my strong suit. Uhhh I'm Harper Jordan by the way, Second-Year Ravenclaw." She introduced herself after she responded, which seemed to be in reverse order, but she had already spoken so there was nothing that she could do about it now.
She knew that since the girl was likely a first-year, since she hadn't seen her around Hogwarts yet or anything, she may or may not be able to help her. But another thing is that Harper knows that a fresh perspective is sometimes all that is needed for these things. She often looked to her friends for help on her homework, or even took a break and looked at it with new eyes and it also helped. Sometimes your brain just has enough of the topic you were reviewing for a while and that was okay.
