Trip a little light fantastic

I was going down the corridors alone, way too fast, destination unknown. Okay, maybe not that fast. And I had a destination in sight, but I didn't know where I was at that moment. It was basically nighttime, and it was dark. "Lumos!" I said, and my wand lit up. I carefully walked down the dark corridors, keeping the wand lit by concentrating on the spell. "Hello? Helloooo...is anybody there?" I called, but I seemed to be alone. My wand light went out. "Dang it!" I said loudly. I sighed and sat down on the floor. I really didn't have the mind to concentrate on any spells right at this moment. "Let's say you're lost in a park sure, you can give in to the dark or you can trip a little light fantastic, with me..." I sang. It was from a muggle movie that I had loved when I was younger, a Mary Poppins movie. I got up to my feet, said "Lumos" once more, and began walking again until I heard footsteps behind me. I swiveled around quickly to face whoever it was who had snuck up on me, yelling, "Who do you think you are?!" though in reality, just a simple "who are you" might have been the better choice...

Trip a little light fantastic
I had stayed at the library way to late. In fact, so late that I had gotten locked in the library. Nothing a quick spell couldn't fix. Once I was outside the library I whispered, "Lumos". I checked my watch, I had to get back to Ravenclaw tower quickly or I'd be past curfew. I tried not to run into anything as I walked down the dark corridor. While I had my wand lit, it was not bright enough to miss a fake stair. My wand light finally flickered over a door. I quickly walked over but as soon as I reached out the door melted into the wall. "Bloody castle," I said. After several more moments of walking, I turned down the hallway and into another corridor. At this point I was very lost, the faint wand light wasn't helping. I was beginning to lose patience and concentration. Why those blasted staircases kept moving and the bloody walls pretended to be doors is beyond me. I thought as I walked through the seemingly empty corridor. The sound of footsteps made me jump. The footsteps made me lose focus and my wand went out. I walked up to the figure, maybe they could help me get to Ravenclaw tower. I was about to say something when the figure faced me with their wand lit. "Sorry! I didn't mean to alarm you." I responded with my wand hand in the air. "I'm Lizzie, or Rose, that's what my family calls me. Who are you?"
