Lucas Chapman and snow were in some sense a dream team, but there incredible cooperation only benefited Lucas. Others were at risk of falling victim to his boredom, and the infinite sources of amusement that snow provided him.

It was early in the morning on a Saturday, too early for the little snow there was to have been disturbed by any foot traffic except from his own which he had left while making his way over to the bench. Since Lucas had arrived, the bench had been cleared for all of the snow on it, having rolled it all up into one rather impressively sized snowball, which sat besides him on the bench as he waited. For someone with such a typically short attention span, he was demonstrating quite impressive patience as he waited for his would be victim. Preferably it would be someone that he knew, and maybe would find amusement out of it, but the longer he waited, the more likely some poor unsuspecting passerby was to get hit in the face by a stray snowball.

Eventually, out of the corner of his eyes, Lucas made out a blonde girl stepping out into the courtyard. He wasn't sure he recognised her past maybe walking by each other in the corridors once or twice, but they certainly would never have spoken, but never the less. He had waited this long, and she would be the unfortunate recipient of his beautifully crafted snowball.

Lucas grabbed the snowball, rising to his feet, before launching the snowball at her. It wasn't too hard of a throw, but it was quite accurate.

Diana left her dorm this Saturday morning, feeling suffocated and needing some fresh air. She was feeling a bit dizzy as she woke up and decided that a walk in the courtyard would help her freshen up.
She especially loved snowy days and would long for a promenade in the snow just to feel it against her skin.

As she meandered around in the courtyard, she could feel the beautiful flakes of snow dropping down on the tip of her nose, red and cold. She hugged her scarf tight around her chin and let out a small cough. The trees were covered in snow, evrything was of a calm and serene white. She stopped in her step, mesmerized by the painted canvas around her. She felt a tingle inside her as she took in her surroundings.

Diana let out a deep breath, already feeling her migraine gone. Until, she felt a cold mass hitting her head. A snowball !
Irritated, she looked around her to see a blonde boy, the one who threw the snow ball at her. Furious, she tried to calm down brushing away the snow on her hair. Looking at the boy right in the eyes, Diana slowly bent down, her lips curling into a sharp grin. She was never allowed to do that sort of "childish"activity before, she may just enjoy herself a bit now. Feeling the cold snow against her palm, Diana picked up the snowball and with all her strength, she threw it at the boy, aiming for his face.

It was a fairly strong throw. Diana smiled at her sweet little revenge and made her way through the snow towards the boy.

"Get a bit of manners." She chuckled with a slightly scolding tone, staring at the guy from head to toe.

Manners ! :erk: @Lucas Chapman

Lucas' grin widened as he watched his snowball fly in a beautiful arc, hitting the girl squarly in the head. He couldn't help but be rooted to the spot as he admired his handy word, watching as she brushed it out of her hair. Sure, he was a prick for it, but it was funny, at least to him.

As she fixed her eyes on him, he returned her gaze, raising his hand, waving to her innocently. He watched as she began to roll up her own snowball, rather stupidly remaining exactly where he was, not even preparing to duck or make any attempt at dodging. It was only when the snowball was mere inches from his face that he let out a small "Oh my." before the snowball burst onto his face.

"Manners.. I don't know what you mean." He continued to try and feign innocence, the grin, however, remained present on his face at all times, sort of ruining the impression he was trying to give off. After he wiped most of the snow from around his face, he bent down, balling up his own snow ball.

Lucas reached far back with his arm, taking a couple of steps of run up, giving the impression that he was really going to throw this snowball with some force behind it. However, as he reached the point where he would typically release, he kept his grip on the ball, his eyes narrowing slightly, wanting to see whether the girl would react to his faint.

Diana felt a bit irritated at the boy who kept smiling, it looked rather dumb to her maybe this guy wasn't worthy of her attention after all. She crossed her arms over her chest, watching the boy as he bent down and rolled his snow ball. She surely is going to dodge that. It may not seem like it but Diana isn't one to repeat the mistakes she made.

She studied his movements and the direction he may throw his snow ball towards. And as he got prepared to strike, Diana moved to the opposite direction in a flash, falling on the snow, a triumphant smile on her face. As she prepared to laugh at him, she realised that he didn't actually throw the snow ball.
He tricked her.

Diana felt a strong heat rise in her ears. Her pale cheeks took a red taint. The embarassement was unbearable. Of course, nothing about it was that embarassing, but the little girl felt as if her dignity was harmed and ridiculed.

She got up, breathing heavily. And moving with fast steps towards the boy, a discrete smirk grew on her lips. A rather large snow ball formed in her palm. Now, centimetres away from her opponent. She pushed him back and shoved the snow ball to his face, not releasing her grip until 15 seconds straight has passed. The girl burst out into such unrestrained and almost maniacal laughter.
Now, that was mean.
But nice had nothing to do with Diana Stern.
Your turn@Lucas Chapman
