Different levels of chatter and other sounds filled the unusual silence during the Sorting Ceremony and Speeches. It was rather noisy as most the students enjoyed their first taste of the meal offered to them with much anyway eaten. After awhile if hearing the pleasant conversations amongst the students, Roxette was looking this way and that for her childhood friend.

"geuneun eodieiss-eul su issseubnikka?" Roxette questioned under her breathe, murmuring softly in her mother's native tongue as she survey the Great Hall. She knew he liked to dye his hair yet she had no idea which color his hair was in that moment.

Unless he didn't dye it at all for the beginning of the school year.

She stood up once she chewed her last morsel of nurturment. She excused herself, wandering in-between the different tables. Was this against the rules? Which they shouldn't be to visit others at other House tables. Friendships and all, and Kim was not a Hufflepuff. She was certain he was in Gryffindor and spotted a white headed person after her scan with her eyes.

Her usual brown eyes were green from the contact lenses she wore. They were starting to itch due to the excitement dying down. She didn't dyed her hair prior to the train ride as her thing was the colorful colors her eyes become thanks to a little circular device. However, Kimmi's habit was his hair she was certain he did color it. What color did he chose for the start of school?

"Kimmi? Are you?" she asked uncertainly as she only saw the back of their head. "Annyeonghaseyo! Kimmi oppa!" she greeted him rather eagerly, hoping it was him. "How have you been?" she asked him. She softened her excitement, waiting for the response from him. She does not have much patience

It was Thursday, September 1st, 2022.

The start of a new school year was upon them and Kim was now a second year. But there was more to come.

This time things would start off with a blast, literally. Well, more like a series of blasts if things went the way they were supposed to! Kim and Elsian had worked together for the last part of summer to ensure that their elaborate prank would be remembered for the whole school year to come. They'd started it off on the train back to Hogwarts and it would now all come to a head very soon. After the welcoming feast was done, the mini explosions should start to happen from students opening up the prank bundles. It would be amusing....

To say the least. What he didn't count on was for another drama to occur before the feast was even done. Sophia, Spider Girl and Precious seemed to start up a fight at the Ravenclaw table, which was soon broken up by Cassandra Ironwoods, one of the Slytherin prefects. It really had been an explosive start to the new school year, that was for sure and there were more explosions yet to come! Kim and Elsian had already spoken beforehand and were determined to ensure that everyone opened the bundles at the exact same time.

If only a few did and others didn't...

It wouldn't be good because the others might realize not to open them if they heard and saw the explosions.

As Kim got up to make his way towards the first section, a voice was heard from behind him. A female one that he didn't recognize just from the sound of her voice. He turned to see a dark haired girl dressed in Hufflepuff robes standing behind him. But it wasn't just the robes that caught his attention, it was her words. She'd spoken Korean to him. That in itself was rare, as he only knew one other person who tended to speak in that language to him. Eun-ji. But this wasn't her. From the words spoken she seemed to know him...

The teen's eyes swept over her for a few seconds and then recognition dawned on him. "Roxie-ya! I forgot you'd be coming here this year!" Kim exclaimed. "You got into Hufflepuff, I see. Did you get one of those bundles on the train?" He asked, unsure as to whether she had or not. From his recollection he definitely had not given her one. So Roxette should be safe for now. From the mini explosions. Unless someone else, or Elsian, had given her one. Kim glanced around, making sure no one was opening them yet.

It didn't seem so.

He had some time to talk to Roxette before having to take care of business. Kim switched back to English.

"What do you think so far? You happy with the House you got into?" It would be interesting to see what Roxette thought of all this. He remembered his own first year and wondered if hers would be similar.

It took him a minute to figure out who she was but Roxie was patient though nervous. She smiled softly as Kim seemed to analyzed who she was. She wasn't disappointed too much about it after all it had been a few years since they last met or even seen each other.

Her grin grew as he says her name, heart fluttering slightly at the sound of her name on his tongue. It rolled nicely to her ears. She had a crush on him for some time yet he was oblivious to it. She never got around to tell him how she felt. Not to mention, most would think it was too early to develop those types of emotions and attachments at the age she had them.

"Yes, Kimmie opps. My first year at Hogwarts" she answered honestly. "Bundles? What bundles? You mean they give out like starter bundles to the new students? I don't remember that in any books or newspapers about first years getting bundles," she questioned, confused about the whole thing. "I should go and write a complaint if that's the case."

She decided on doing so later on yet something told her that. Not only that, but she didn't remember anybody getting parcels on the train. She was certain someone would had said something about it. Also, Kim was speaking in Korean and seemed a bit nervous as he glanced about. She couldn't help be curious as she searched to see if she could spot these bundles.

Now he was speaking English!

That was weird.

"I don't know yet," she shrugged then frowned. "I was hoping for my father's house. I guess the Sorting Hat saw I was hardworking or loyal," explained she, forgetting she was fidgeting with her fingers. "I am not sure," she shrugged her shoulders.

Kim shook his head a little.

It was good that she hadn't been given one by Elsian. He'd have had to snatch it back from her!

"Oh, no. It's nothing important. There were just some people handing out bundles of sweets on the train before. Just wondering if you'd gotten one or not. Don't worry about it, if you didn't, I can always give you some of my own later on! You can't live without sweets, right?" Kim said with a smirk. Roxie knew the white haired teen was addicted to sweets. He'd always been that way for almost all of his life. The look on Roxie's face made his lips twitch a little. The teen knew her quite well....

At least he used to know her well. Hopefully, that hadn't changed over the years. "I'm speaking in english now because we're not really supposed to talk in other languages most of the time here." Kim told her and let his blue eyes flicker over Roxie for a few seconds. "But if you feel more comfortable talking in Korean right now, I can switch for you for a time." He added, trying to make the transition easier. After all, he'd done it for Taizu, there was no reason why he couldn't do it for Roxie as well.

Kim nodded at her words.

"I wanted to get into my father's house truthfully, it's the least I can do for him." He admitted.

"After all, you know I can't follow in his footsteps in any other manner....." Kim said with a sigh and shook his head a little. "But I got into my mother's House instead, something she continues to mercilessly tease my father about. So I kind of feel guilty for having gotten into Gryffindor...." The white haired teen reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind his earlobe. "The people I've interacted with in Gryffindor are the best though, so I'm actually kind of happy now....."

"Maybe the same will happen for you too! But remember, if you ever need to talk to someone, I'll always be around for you. You can send me an owl or come up to me whenever you see me. Even if there are lots of people around me, feel free to come over and drag me off. You know, sometimes I'd even appreciate it... you know I don't do well with too many people sometimes." Kim let his eyes linger on Roxie. "You should also join some clubs!" The boy suggested.

"I run and co-run a bunch of them. What kind of things do you enjoy doing? There are a lot of different types of clubs out there." Kim told her, wondering what she'd come up with.

She was still frowning in thought about what was going on. What are these bundles Kim was talking about? She hasn't seen any because her mind was preoccupied with the Sorting Hat's decision to place her in Hufflepuff. She wasn't looking down on them as the badgers had good qualities like hardworking and loyalty, which she supposed she was.

Sweets sounded good. She felt upset about not getting a bundle. She even was surveying the hall for these snacks. When he said, he'll share his own candies she smiled at him. "You and your sweets," she gently teased him. "Okay! I didn't think of that. I guess I see why. It was rude of me. It does not matter, but I do like speaking Korean better," she switched to English midway with a blood of her head. She realized that most wouldn't know what she was talking about if she continued Korean. There was the fact that more people should look at her curiously or angrily at her if she continued.

"I was shock to hear you were in Gryffindor too. Now here in front of me, I can see the coloring suits you. Your poor Appa. I am sorry for him. Maybe next generation? I am certain somebody else will be a Slytherin in the family. When that happens he'll be happy. But, as long as you are doing good within your house I think that's all he should really care about," she concluded with a grin. "I appreciate it! I'll be due to do so."

She nodded her head. She hoped it came true what happened to Kim will transpired to herself. She could only bear with it and pray for the best outcome like Kim did.

"Clubs sounds good. Which clubs are you running? Is there a cooking club? Maybe Korean club? I do like Quidditch and Racing."
