"Pardon! Can you please move out of my way!" André somewhat shouted at a particularly large group of fourth years in the halls blocking the way to the defense against the dark arts classroom. One of his favorite classes. The group was either ignoring him or just didn't hear him. The saying if you can't get around then go through, came into his mind.

Not seeing a way around he pushed his way through them. "Sorry, my bad." he muttered those words a lot moving through the crowd. But they wouldn't move! When he finally made it through the wall of upper class men, he gave an angry glare to them before moving along his way.

Soon after he started to move a way from them, he saw her. Bailey? Was it? He had heard a rumor that she and Kim where a couple. The same Kim that was his distinct cousin of sorts. He saw no better time in the foreseeable future to ask about this.

He walked up to her, "Hello?" he greeted. So she was Bailey, she seamed nice to! "Uh yeah you can help me.. I have a question for you actually. Do you know Kim?" he asked. "Are you and him.. Well- together?" he quickly followed up, not really giving here a chance to answer his last question.

Bailey was on a mission - it was to reach her next class, and then to eat lunch. That was, until she got sidetracked, helping a first year.
Apparently the first year, whom Bailey's vagely recognized, did not need directions to his next class, and was not lost. Not physically lost at least, by the questions that were asked.
Bailey smiled not truly understanding, until it clicked.
She laughed and said "Oh - yes i do...i do know kim! He is my best friend, nothing more. We are not together. not like romantically at least. He's JUST a friend" Here bailey put extra emphasis on the word just, making sure it was clear that friendship was all that she and kim shared.
even if i did like him, which i TOTALLY DO NOT there would be no way that i would tell him this - he's almost more likely to never marry than to actually like me back... right? there is no way he likes me... not more than just as a friend. We are Just friends.. nothing more. we do make good friends though
Stopping herself from rambling internally any more, bailey asked curious "who are you? how do you know kim? and why did you think we were 'together'?"

Ohhh kay? So she does know him, and they are 'just friends'. With all the emphasis she had put an that the younger student felt as if some part of here was lying? Either her brain or heart. Or both. Probably both.

André looked at the blond wondering just what was her and Kim's relationship? She said they were just friends. With what she was saying, Kim would probably agree. So why were people saying the were together?

Then the bombard of questions came. It felt like the normal type of questions someone who had been confronted should ask. Standing up straighter then before he gladly answer. "to answer your questions, Im André Lebedev a first year hufflepuff, Kim is my cousin of sorts so that's how I know him. And I thought you were together because well- a lot of people do. And they were saying so. And I wanted to find out from the source" He answered in quick and.. Mostly.. Short answers, hoping that would satisfy he had a question or two of his own.

"Do you know why people thought you were together?" she must not have known people thought that based on reactions alone, maybe she knew why?

bailey had a feeling that the boy in no way believed that they were just friends. At this point no one did, even though both bailey and kim had told people that they were not dating. Bailey may have a growing crush on her best friend, but she was determined not to let it change their friendship, as kim was in a slightly... unstable place, mentally at least.
feeling her cheeks warm slightly, bailey brushed her hair over her shoulder and feigned confidence. shoulders up, chin high. you know kim would agree with you, we are NOT dating... why does no one believe us? why would they want us together so bad?
Bailey smiled as André introduced himself, and she said "André - it is a true pleasure to meet you! i didn't realize kim had any cousins here."
Her grin dropped slightly as André continued, saying that a lot of people said she and kim were dating. Glancing at her shoes, bailey caught herself avoiding the topic and raised her eyes again to meet André's eyes.
Bailey sighed and smiled softly. "i really dunno why everyone is convinced that we are dating - i mean, we do spend a lot of time hanging out, but i enjoy kim's company and he seems to enjoy mine. we're best friends, and have been since we first met - when we met we just... clicked. we're super similar but different enough that we get along really well, but are not totally the same. I think people think we are together, in the sense that we're dating because i ... i drag kim a lot of places. I am sociable, but i need another person with me, and i trust kim... and he tolerates my dragging him around. i.... he's my best friend. i think... i couldn't be more with him while he is in the mental state that he is in."
From her last statement André would and could probably guess that she sometimes thought of Kim as more than her best friend, but she had said it, and there was no going back.

André nodded, "Pleasure to meat you as well! in fact he has at least two, my sister, shes a second year raven" He smiled with his response to Bailey. Daria was amazing, he had wanted to be in the same house as her, but that raggedy hat had different plans. Hufflepuff was great though, nice crowd. Black and yellow like the hardworking bee's most of his housemates were. Unlike him self who hardly studied, and had hardly impressive grades.

He watched as her smile faded, witch caused his to dim as well. He also watched as her eyes dropped, and raise back to his own. He kept looking at her eyes as she gave a lengthy response as to why Kim and her were not together. To André it sounded as if she wanted to be with him, in a relationship, But that Kim couldn't at the moment, or just was only interested in her as a friend. It was all complected, as a twelve year old boy who hasn't been in love, or thought about it much, there was a high chance he was wrong.

"Well it sounds like you care about each other very much, be it romantically or otherwise. So I know he defiantly likes your compony. If you do like him, I hope y'all stay as friends. As you seam to like being around in the same place." He finished with a shrug of his shoulders, It may have been true it may have not been. But he was satisfied with what he had asked first, They weren't dating, but there might be something? Whatever, he knew what he wanted now and put the rumor to rest. "If you wanted I could tell people that you're not dating? If you wanted." He asked. It may possibly save them some trouble of telling themselves.

Bailey smiled when Admré returned her pleasantries. She felt good, having made a new friend- or so she hoped.
“I think I may have seen your sister once or twice, actually! But I’ve never really gotten to talk with her yet.” Bailey said in reply to Andre mentioning that his sister was a second year ravenclaw.
When baileys smile faded later in their conversation, she watched as Andre’s did as well. Not wanting to be a downer, she forced a smile back to her face. nothings wrong!! Absolutely non thing is wrong. You are fineee she thought to herself, lying to herself but trying to believe it.
Bailey also realized she was talking potential love with a 12 year old boy, and that made her almost laugh.
Bailey smiled when Andre said that Kim at least liked her company- that made her happy. She really did enjoy being around Kim, and always had. They had clicked when they first met, and when they were still just owl pals.
“Thank you Andre! I hope we at least stay friends too- I’d hate to loose Kim, I love spending time with him. And I hope that I have a chance to get to know you better as well!”
Bailey smiled again at Andre when he mentioned that he could try and stop the rumors for them.
Bailey was so so thankful for this offer, and had to say “I’d appreciate it- thank you. It was funny at first, but now it’s getting a tad annoying and I don’t want Kim to stress about the is, because I know he’s already stressing about other things. Thank you again Andre!!!”
Glancing at her watch, Bailey realized she really had to get going, and so she said goodbye and headed off to class, happy she had been able to tell the truth to someone for once.
