A few knocks can be heard before the door to the Astronomy classroom is open. Flora's head appeared silently as she looked around, her beady black eyes scanned across the room. Last class, she was paired with another student from Gryffindor on a project, it seems. Astra Ingebrigtsen, that's her name, if she had remembered correctly. Despite how they haven't interacted with each other much yet, they have decided to start it this time. They seemed good to work with for now- But Flora is unsure. After all, she had heard that Slytherin and Gryffindor were never on good terms.

Hopefully nothing bad will happen like last time, right?

She fully entered her room, the notebooks and another few books in her hands as she settled down and decided to wait for the other to come. Flora had made sure she would come earlier than the time intended, just to be sure that she wouldn't leave the other waiting. This seemed good- At least better than being late, perhaps, as her parents always warned her not to. Being on time is extremely important, to not leave another waiting. So, silently, Flora stayed in her seat and awaited for Astra to come and meet with her.

Sorry for making it short! I'm on the verge of getting yelled at by the teacher-

Astra thought that she came earlier but upon seeing her classmate here before her she was quite supprised, in a good way. Perhaps Flora Harrison liked astronomy ? That's what Ingebrigtsen thought.

-Hey Flora ! A bit early ain't you ? Does it mean you're excited about the assignment ? Cause I am ! She told the Slytherin.

The disabled girl took a seat and putted her crutches near the wall, taking out a book with the title "The Galaxies not so far away".
For Ingebrigtsen it was time for some fun, of course it was not as fun as the observations but it was close.
She turned to Flora and said:

-Maybe after this we can go look at the stars tonight ? If you want to of course ! I will go either way, can't miss it out !

Astra got her little magical pocket telescope out and started playing with it, before drawing something in a parchment. It was a group of points here and there that she connected together.

-Those are the constellation we can see tonight, 5 of them are related to this assignment so it could be interesting to go watch them after. Just a suggestion of course, don't want to force anything. Anyway, I don't think we know each other that well, do you want to talk a bit about yourself ?

Flora was taking a look through her notes again when Astra came through the door. Gazing up, she gave the Gryffindor a polite smile and nodded her head as a greeting, quietly, not talking, as usual. Despite warming up onto others quickly, she's still quite shy at first.

Upon that Astra has spoken, Flora finally opened her mouth, "Greetings, Astra," She answered the excited girl calmly. She certainly is very enthusiastic about Astronomy, just like many other students. Unfortunately, though, Flora didn't really like it that much like others, but after all- She can stand it. The stars are still quite beautiful and to be able to see much information from the sky sure is cool.

Flora listened to the disabled student talk first, as they are more experienced at Astronomy than her, it seems. "Of course! I haven't been out for the stars in a long time now," She looked at the drawing Astra had drawn. These five constellations are the one that they have learnt just a few classes ago, and the Slytherin was able to name them all out accordingly. Pointing to one of them, she asked Astra, "Perhaps this one? I believe that we would be able to see it tonight, if I'm not wrong," Flora asked for a suggestion.

And now for the introduction part, huh- Flora's not surprised, actually. As project teammates, they must know each other better. Well, time for an introduction. It's been a while since she last did a proper introduction by word to another. "Well, I'm Flora Harrison, as you know-" Flora chuckled a bit. "-And I'm 11 years old, from the Slytherin house. I currently don't have a pet, but I'm saving up for one. Also, I am aiming to become a duelist in the future." Flora paused. Is this good enough? She basically said the same thing over and over again though.

"What about you?"

-Oh ! That a deal then ! I'm so excited to go see the stars ! She replied excitingly.

Upon listening to Flora Astra thought to herself that the girl did not have a "build" for dueling if we could say so.

-Duelist ? That sound great ! I'm sure you can become a great duelist in the future, from what I heard Slytherin currently has the best duelists.

-Oh and which pet would you like to have ? She asked afterward.

Ingebrigtsen took a few second before talking about herself, as a social kid she had no difficulties presenting herself.

-My family name is Ingebrigtsen, my family come from norway, we own a business of building and selling magical telescope. Me and all my family are alot into astronomy, my dream is to become a famous astronomy expert

The gryffindor willingly ommited her disability, it was not a very happy thing to talk about and she knew it. And she also forgot to say she was a metamorphmagus, like she often does.

But she did not really need to, her hair was starting to change colors slightly to white because of her current happiness, it seemed to her that she would be having a great day.

-After watching the stars how about we eat diner together ? I mean we will probably be hungry right ? If you want of course !

”I sure am also excited,” Flora smiles at the girl’s enthusiasm. It’s always great to be interested and excited for something, despite how Flora isn’t. Everyone have their own favorites and dislikes.

“I would need to work hard to become a great duelist, although Slytherin do have some of the bests currently. There’s a lot I need to learn of,” She answered the girl as many had doubted her ability to be one when she said that, including her own brother— She wasn’t necessarily the biggest, and in fact, quite short and not muscular and all that. But that doesn’t mean she can’t try, as long as spells work those are not really the problem.

“I would perhaps like to own a lizard—“ Flora paused as she thought about it. The idea was a childish one, upon coming from a childish thought— Reading from the old books for children, she found interest in those reptiles. Maybe it’s what that may drive her to own one, but sometimes owls seemed tempting too— Especially Arctic owls. They’re beautiful and graceful, able to fly, and all that. That’s why Flora added, “—Or maybe an owl.” At the end.

“I’m fairly sure you would become a famous astronomy expert too— You certainly seemed to have the talents and determination to become one,” Flora then said, giving Astra a polite smile, saying jokingly a bit. ”I look forward to see you on the newspaper one day.” Maybe she’ll become famous and be on the newspaper one day, it may be done. It’s just how if she wanted to remain out of people’s gazes or step out into the spotlight.

”I may pass for dinner though; I don’t eat too late at night, apologies” The Slytherin first year said, apologizing. She would pass for that anyways, even if it’s early. She prefers to eat alone in silence— Sometimes eating with others in public can lead to overwhelming noises— From other friends coming to join and eating in a crowded voice.

Astra Ingebrigtsen accidentally let out a little "Dhhh" noise that expressed her annoyment at Flora's refusal to go diner, Astra's hair getting back to normal because of that.

-Have you tried entering the dueling club ? That would be a good start to practice and all right ? She asked.

And one friend from the dueling club ! Astra thought cheerfully to herself.

Building a network was important to her as she believed it would give her power over the school.

You have to better become a good duelist even with that body of yours. She said to herself internally.

Astra took her quill and started writting quickly on her parchment, displaying unwillingly her talent to her new find friend. For the girl the Astronomy homeworks were just too easy, so she always addded as much knowledge as possible to show to the teacher what she was capable of.
Once she was done she stretched herself and looked at Flora.

-I'm done on my part, do you need any help ? Astra asked.

By the way does it mean that you are good at charm and Defense against the dark arts ? I mean the fact that you want nto be a duelist. If so would you help me with the homeworks ? Astra asked.

Can tell that Astra seemed a bit upset that she had refused them, Flora said slowly, “Perhaps another time?” Not the best suggestion ever, but she doesn’t like making others, well, mad or sad or just feeling pessimistic. She glanced at the Gryffindor’s hair and watched as the colours changed. Not surprising— There’s a lot of different species in Hogwarts as she had heard. Despite of that, she hadn’t really seen one in her entire life.

“Yeah, I’m planning on entering after I learnt and master more spells,” Flora answered as she took out the homework project assignments and started writing, not as quickly as Astra, but still smoothly. She may not be a genius like the Astronomy lover besides her, but she had previewed most of the textbooks’ chapters by now, and it’s not as hard as she expected. But in the end, Astronomy still sucks to her, so she didn’t really look at it much. Instead, she scanned the pages. Perhaps that’s why it’s taking her longer than usual.

“I think I’m good, almost done. Though perhaps you can check for me? I’m not as good as you in Astronomy,” She said as she handed Astra the paper. Hard to deny but Flora isn’t as perfect as she hoped she could be. That’s why she learn things with a more positive attitude than other students, to ensure she’ll mostly always be ahead, despite how her scores aren’t always the best. But hey, as long as she has better knowledge she’s still better.

”I would say I’m fairly decent, but I don’t know if I’m that good. Hopefully I am though,” She said as she peeked at Astra’s paper, and scanned through the text. A lot of words she hadn’t seen before; certainly as what an expert would write. “I‘ll still help as much as I can though,” Flora said finally.

-Yeah sure I will check, I don't garantee that I will find errors or anything tho. Astra said.

The girl took the work of Flora and started reading it, then took out a quill and dictated to the quill what had to be corrected.

-Here it is, I think we're done with it then. The Gryffindor said.

-Let's go watch the stars ? She added.

Astra got up and started leaving the room, but before she did she turned back and looked at Flora, smiling at her.

-I want to learn more spells too to be honest, as much as I can because I feel like making a collection of them sorta. I don't mind not being the best wizard per say like casting spell the most perfectly or without wand or incantation. I prefer having alot, I don't know if you get what I mean. Astra told Flora.

That was something that Astra had in mind for a while but never really phrased it, after all she was only known as the astronomy girl like her siblings so saying something like that was odd, even to herself, she started to cope with it.

-I never really got this powerful wizards thing, I think it's dumb a spell is a spell if it does what it's mean to do it's good enough She added.
