Winter Wonders

@Wyatt Starkey @Alec Mason | January 7th, in the morning
Opeila was back at Hogwarts. Alive but once again under a lot of pressure. She hated it, truly, she hated going back in winter, it was always winter when the Virtanens made another choice for Opeila, about her life and perhaps even announced it without telling her beforehand. The Yule Ball had been a bit of an embarrassment in that way, but what had they expected? That Opeila would be overjoyed?
So it was no wonder that Opeila was not exactly in the best mood when everyone returned to school. There was a lot to think about and... a lot to fix. Opeila had made some regrettable choices herself in winter and now she needed to find a way to fix it, well... confess something to a classmate at first. But not today. It was the third day the first weekend back at Hogwarts, enough time had passed for the young fourth year to push away the stress from home a little and focus on school.
And today, she had actually woken up feeling exceptionally cheerful. She couldn't really say why, but she really felt adventurous this morning. What would she do today? Go to Hogsmeade? Spend some time outside with friends? Practice duelling?
Pondering her plans, she would enter the great hall for breakfast, helping herself to a bowl of cereal.
Once she finished, she would stare at the empty bowl, the subtle decorations... The idea came out of nowhere and made her giggle. What if... could it work? The young prefect would magically clean her bowl and stuff it into her bag, a flat plate as well. Excited, she would get up from her bench, walk down the Slytherin table and tap Wyatt on the shoulder. "I want to try something! Wanna come?"
Her eyes would scan the Great Hall and find someone else, another fourth year, a Gryffindor. Opeila would try to catch his attention, then nod towards the door.
If the two boys followed, she would leave the Great Hall and run outside, onto the still snow covered grounds. She wouldn't stop until she reached the top of a hill, then pull the bowl and plate she took from the Slytherin table out of her bag.
She would place both of them on the ground in front of her and point her wand at them. "Engorgio!" Thanks to her spell spread ability, it only needed one spell to make both of them grow large enough for a human to sit inside or on top of them. "What do you think?" She would turn to the boys. "Could those be used for sledding?"
A silly grin had appeared on her face- surely this was not at all responsible of her, surely any professor would have scolded her for suggesting this, being a prefect, but Opeila could really use a bit of fun.

Winter Wonders
It had been a quiet morning for the fourth-year. Missing the action he oh-so desired on the days where he lacked a schedule with all the time slots filled. Despite lacking a day's worth of plans and activities, from the moment Alec had woken up he became a man on a mission. What exactly was this man'schild's mission? Feeding the ever-consuming ravenous black hole he had been accustomed to calling his stomach. The curly-haired Gryffindor, already having taken a seat at the great hall was scarfing down his second muffin, feeling accomplished as a manchild with his mission completed. A mission completed didn't end there, no, he needed to put in his 110% like the ravenously hungry person he was, Alec was about to go in for his third muffin when out of the corner of his eyes he would notice Opeila trying to catch his attention and nodding towards the door.
Reluctant to leave for another muffin was awaiting him, curiosity got the better of Alec and raising and eyebrow he hurriedly followed out. As he caught sight of Wyatt he would give the other a look, then gesture his head towards Opeila as if to ask if Wyatt knew what was going on. From the castle and out to the snow-covered grounds Alec watched as Opeila pulled borrowed items from her bag and enlarged them. She turned to him and Wyatt asking the two what they think. Alec's eyes wandered from enlarged bowl and plate to Opeila, a slow grin spread across his face as she asked if they thought the enlarged bowl and plate could be used for sledding.
Alec's eyes lit up, “you're brilliant! I would have never thought too enlarge a plate and use it for...” The Gryffindor rambled on excitedly. New possibilities sparking in his mind, many wonderful future excursions on the horizon. and surely none of the staff would notice silverware or otherwise going missing as long as it was put back. “I don't know if it'll work but I wanna try.” There was no way Alec could pass up on such an amazing opportunity.
