The Start of Something Magical

Father speaking
Mother speaking
September 1st. The day he'd been waiting for many years had finally come. Yet, it wasn't going at all as he expected. His parents taught him how to get through the barrier and everything, but his brother couldn't catch a break from work to see him. It wasn't easy to hide the disappointment he felt, he managed only by the thought his parents wouldn't want to see him like this.
His mother spoke to him as he rummaged through one of his trunks, noticing it was a bit lighter than it should've been. "Your father brought up to me that you most likely left something at home. Don't worry though, I'll send it to you tomorrow." He brushed her response off, still making sure he had everything. He gave up though, nothing was sorted like he wanted. He shut his trunk again and looked up at the clock. "It's almost time to go, I better get on the train before I miss it." He tried not to say so coldly, but it slipped through.
His parents gave him final hugs before he left, but his father pulled him to the side. "I know I can't say much about where you're going, but I just want you to have a good time, Gabriel. Just for my sake and yours, don't get kicked out like the other times... and try to be good. The most important thing is that you have fun." He father winked at him, the same glint in his eye. His father had always understood him, even if he was confusing in his words.
He got on the train and about 2 minutes later it started to go. He looked out the window as his parents waved at him, slowly getting more and more distant from him. He was going to miss them, but it was on to new adventures and new people.Note: I'm posting this quite late but I just realized I never posted anything on Gabe's journey.
