Today was the Winter Solstice, the best day of the year for all those astronomy fans. It was the perfect day to see the sky as today was the darkest day of the year, the sun had already set a little bit before 4pm. So they would be able to observe way more stars, nebula, galaxies, planets, constellation and meteor showers than usual.

Astra Ingebrigtsen had invited the astronomy club member to watch the night sky with her, so she had a bunch of things already prepared for the event. She gotten a few telescopes here and there so that anyone could observe.
She knew that there would probably be people that were not from the astronomy club here too as the winter solstice was not unheard of. So she was also prepared for that too, prepared to ask them to join the club that is.
The Gryffindor took out her magical pocket telescope to watch a bit the sky, while no one was still here.
After a moment, she decided to make a little speech for the occasion. She looked at the people who were around and started.

-Ahem, May I have your attention please She started saying.

-Look up Astra said while pointing at the sky.

-Most of what you see there is either already gone, or will outlive you. She paused.

The girl then pointed at the ground visible from the astronomy tower.

-Most of what you here, has or will change over just a few years. The night sky is the only thing that stayed the same and will stay the same, for our ancestor, for us and for our descendent. She took her breath and continued.

-It link us together, it link us to our past, and our future. And despite all that we are also part of the night sky too. Today please enjoy the night sky with that in mind. She told everyone.

-Also, if there is anyone who would like to join the Astronomy Club, please feel free to do so ! Ingebrigtsen suggested.

I don't care about others I just pretend to, because I don't want to be alone.
