===Morgan heaved a deep breath in and let it out slowly, a look of disappointment on her face as she stared at the final page of her book. She was expecting from her book some excitement.. some adventure.. perhaps a little bit of suspense.. something that would really capture her attention and hold it. But what she got was a simple love story, with no real twists or turns.
===She was really disappointed with how dull and uninteresting the story was. It felt like it was just another love story where the main character falls in love and that's it. She wished the story had been about the main character growing up and developing as a person, rather than just focusing on a love story. It's not like — you always need a man in your life to be happy!
===She took out her sticky notes and placed them on the front cover of her book. “1/5 - could've been better if the story was more interesting, just like the title.”
===She turned the knob and pushed the door open, stepping out into the hallway. Her heels clicked against the floor as she made her way to the stairwell and descended to the ground floor, where the library was located. The young woman decided to go to the library, looking for a book that would interest her. She was tired of reading in her bed, and thought that perhaps she could find something more engaging in the library.
===On her way to the library, Morgan is met with a heavy, dark oak door. As she walks up to the door, she can't help but take a deep breath in, savoring the familiar scent. Pushing on the handle, she's met with little resistance as the door swings open smoothly. She's greeted by rows and rows of books, as well as the musty smell that comes with them. However, she doesn't mind — in fact, she finds it comforting.
===Taking a stroll through the rows of books, she allows her fingers to glide across the spines until something catches her attention. However, it's not the book itself that has caught her eye this time, but a person — a girl, and more specifically, a Ravenclaw. She knows that this is her chance to make a new friend, so she walks up to the girl and greets her quietly, mindful not to disturb the others around them in the library.
===“Hey, there,” she said.
===“I noticed you’re a Ravenclaw.. I'm a big fan of your house. I love the intelligence and creativity of the students.”

Why did Ebony find herself going more and more to the library nowadays? She was trying to get more rebellious, not smarter! As she pushed open the heavy doors that led into the library, she started doubting why she was even here to begin with. Homework? No, she had finished that in the Common Room. Studying? She tried to wing tests. Reading? She didn't read much anymore. Drawing? Maybe. More like procrastinating and lazily sitting around, sketching random people she saw who were actually working hard. You couldn't call Ebony dumb, she was creative, showing true qualities of her house, but she wasn't book smart either. Maybe life smart. Clever. That was the word.
The smell of the library was addicting, however, because she couldn't help but take in a deep breath and sniff in the woody scent of paper and knowledge. She ran her fingers along the spines of the books on a bookshelf, observing the colours of each of the books. The scent of the library was one thing, another was the aesthetic. Ebony loved the vintage aesthetic to all libraries, and she loved how spacious it was, lined only with books and not people, providing the perfect solitude. Coming here gave her time to think, time to doodle, time to do things she liked. Not daydreaming. She didn't dream.
Flopping onto a chair aimlessly, she drew out a sketchpad and began sketching, drawing the rows of books that she so frequently drew. There was a pile of drawings that were of the library, but the higher up the drawing was, the better it was, which meant Ebony was improving. All she had to do was try, do it again and again. She wondered why she didn't have this kind of determination for studying.
When she was just about finished, she noticed a Gryffindor girl approach her out of the corner of her eye. Ebony was slightly startled when she started talking. She widened her eyes to listen.
She raised her eyebrows when the girl said that she was a fan of Ravenclaw. Wasn't she a Gryffindor though? They were all about bravery and courage, qualities Ebony didn't have. "Why, thank you," she replied. Something told her that she should try to impress this girl.

===Morgan took a seat on the chair next to the other woman, her one hand cupped in her face. “I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name? My name is Morgan, by the way.”
===Following a quick glance at the person sitting next to her, she turned her attention to the table and the sketchbook she was using. “Oh, so you're into drawing?” she asked, looking at the other woman's sketch pad.
===“Mind if I ask what you're drawing, if that's alright?” Morgan asked as she leaned closer for a better view
===The soft sound of her chuckle echoed through the library, as she leaned back in her chair and surveyed her surroundings. It was nice to just sit and chat with someone, even if they were a complete stranger.
===“What does it feel like being a Ravenclaw?” she asked again, slowly and enunciating each word. Wit, intelligence, and creativity are the three things that Ravenclaw house values most highly. Therefore it's not surprising that Morgan would adore that house given her curious and passionate nature.
===She's always loved the way ravenclaw students think and she's always been drawn to their intelligence. She's never been the biggest fan of gryffindor, but she's always been proud to be a part of the house.

Ebony nodded when the girl introduced herself. "I'm Ebony," she replied, twirling her pen in her hand. When asked what she was drawing, she pushed it towards the girl so she could see it better. "Yeah, I love art. This? This is the library... I've been drawing it so many times, but every time it comes out different, somehow. The windows, doors... all the ancient books..." she said somewhat dreamily with a faraway expression, unlike her usual expressionless board of a face. Only when she was talking about something she was passionate about, like her art or Quidditch, would she be able to talk for hours. Otherwise, she barely said more than what was necessary. Besides, this girl somehow felt comforting and good to talk to, and her interest in her house only added to that.
She snapped out of what was perhaps a bit of a trance when asked another question. "Being in Ravenclaw... I love it. I was lucky to be sorted into the house that I wanted. I wouldn't describe myself as nerdy or someone who loves studying and stuff, but Ravenclaw isn't just about books, it's about creativity too. And that's the part I love the most about my house. The creativeness. What about you? How's it like being in Gryffindor?" Ebony asked. Personally, she didn't much like the bravado that many of the lions put on, and courage wasn't her thing, but this girl... Morgan... she seemed different, somehow.
