Closed A New Beginning

As the students of Hogwarts took their seats in the Great Hall, Deep made his way to the Gryffindor table. You had been sorted into this house at the beginning of the year and were proud to be a part of such a noble and brave group.

He sat down between his would be two best friends. Across from him, the other Gryffindors were chatting and laughing, excited for the feast that was about to begin. Deep took a moment to look around the hall, taking in the sights and sounds of your fellow students.

The Hufflepuff table was to his left, their students chatting amiably with one another. To his right was the Ravenclaw table, their students deep in discussion about some arcane subject or another. And at the head of the hall, the Slytherin table sat quietly, their students watching the proceedings with cool, calculating gazes.

As the Headmaster took his seat at the head of the Gryffindor table, the Great Hall fell silent. He raised his wand and the enchanted ceiling, which normally depicted the starry sky, changed to show the Hogwarts crest. The students erupted into applause and cheers as the feast appeared on the long tables before them.

Deep reached for a roast chicken leg and dug in, chatting with his fellow friends as he enjoyed the delicious food. Deep couldn't wait to see what adventures the rest of the year would bring.
