Azrael was doing their homework when their mother's snowy white owl, Mary, appears with a letter. Azrael is both worried and excited for this because, their mother never sends Mary and always sends Joseph their father's owl.

As Azrael read the contents of the letter they let out an out of character squeal, they have found out that their mother is having a baby. She says she's been pregnant for about a month now, they probably meant to tell Azrael that day but decided to hold off until Christmas but they got excited.

Azrael is really excited to have another sibling to spoil, on the upside they have to do a bit of planning to decorate the baby's/babies' room.

Azrael has only ever had the triplets but Ace, Amira, and Emerald are growing up too fast for Azrael to keep up. Another kid in the house will be awesome and a total experience.

What Azrael isn't looking forward to is changing diapers. The main thing they aren't looking forward to is looking at the ceiling to see what the kid/kids are staring at.

Azrael is tempted to send a letter to everyone in school, ultimately deciding not to because that seems a bit extreme.
