The first of many

Dear mom,

Wish the triplets a happy birthday on my behalf and please tell them I'll do my best to make it up to them for not being there at the moment. Although I've already gone Christmas shopping for the family, I can make another trip.

I know this is the first I've written since coming to Hogwarts, I promise to write more in the future. I heard some students have the choice to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas,
I'm sure it's just a rumor. I will be coming home for Christmas.

Hogwarts has been an amazing experience, I feel at home and safe here. The students and teachers that I know of are nice, I am participating in some clubs. I am a bit less introverted than usual, I know you are probably thinking I should be a bit more social. I assure you that I have made a friend and some friendly acquaintances.

Speaking of friends, are the triplets still causing trouble with Yasmine? You'd expect the friend with glasses to be level minded and to not cause trouble. Tell my Godmothers and Godsiblings that I miss them and I'll see them on winter break. I hope you are having a good day, Love you.
