Dear Someone...

Celia had been feeling lonely these past few weeks. She'd already made a number of acquaintances during the short amount of time she's attended Hogwarts, but that was about it. One night, she had the amazing idea of sending a random Hogwarts student a letter, with the hopes of finding somebody, just anybody in particular, to exchange letters with. The first-year had been meaning to visit the Owlery for quite some time now, but never got the chance, due to her number of assignments that needed finishing. Usually, Celia would spend her free periods doing her homework. Unfortunately for her grades though, the dark, slowly growing hole of loneliness growing in her stomach eventually proved triumphant. Celia walked around the groups of students chatting carefully, and made her way to the top of Hogwarts castle. After staircase after staircase, she finally made it to her destination- the Owlery. "Phew, that.. that was a long walk..."Celia panted, leaning against the stone wall. After a long while of catching her breath, Celia pulled some parchment and a quill from her satchel, pressing her parchment on the stone, glass-less windowsill. Then, she began to write.Celia read over her letter a few times, checking her grammar and punctuation. It looks fine, I suppose. she muttered, folding the parchment and putting it in an envelope. Glancing around the Owlery, a handsome barn owl caught her eye. She waltzed up to it, holding her letter in hand. Sticking it's leg out, the barn owl clicked its beak expectantly. Celia giggled. She always thought the owls looked so cute when they lifted their legs like that. She tied her letter to the owl's leg and said,Dear Someone,
Greetings! I'm hoping that my owl hasn't given you too much trouble delivering my letter, it was meant to give this to somebody random. You see, I've been feeling a bit lonely lately, and I want somebody to chat with. I've already met lots of people, but we're not really friends, so I decided to send a letter to somebody! I hope my owl's chosen right, I let it pick who it would give this letter to.
So, how are you these days? I've been doing... Well, I could be doing much better. I have a lot of homework due soon. I've been scouring the library day and night, but I just can't find the right books I need! And by the time I finally get to the correct section, it's almost curfew. I keep having to go to bed late, and by the time I wake up, I've already forgotten where the section was! It sounds annoying, doesn't it? I hope you're doing better than me. Anyways, enough with my rambling. Let's talk about you! What's your favorite color? Mine is green. I love how in summer the trees have this lovely shade of summer-y green on them, it's so pretty! Oh, I just thought of an idea for a game! What if we give each other hints about who we are, and we can try to figure out who's writing to the other! Doesn't that sound fun? I'll give you the first hint- I'm a girl in Slytherin! Oh no, I'm running out of parchment now, so I'll end my message here. Reply soon!

"Could you give this to somebody random? It doesn't matter who." The owl slightly nodded, and Celia took this as a gesture of understanding. She watched as the handsome owl flew away, hopefully choosing a compatible recipient for her letter. Well, we'll have to wait and see.

Dear Someone...
Azrael POV
Azrael never would have expected a random Owl bringing them a note, Azrael is nervous to open the letter because they are worried about what it contains. It could be a howler or a dungbomb, their mind goes to other places when they are worried.
Azrael gathered up their courage and read the letter, apparently this letter is addressed to a random person from a random person how ironic.
Azrael decides to write a response to the 'girl in slytherin'.
Azrael looks up and is shocked to see an impatient bird giving a strangely human glare. Azrael slowly but surely attached it to the Owl who wasted no time flying away.
Azrael mumbled something about mean birds and mysterious strangers. At least they somewhat know someone who understands.

Azrael was proud to be able to vent to someone, who understands how hard it is to make friends instead of acquaintances.Dear Friendly Stranger
I will admit it took a lot of courage to open this letter, however I am happy I'm not the only person who has a but of a hard time making friends.
Dear Merlin I just realized it sounds like I'm happy you have a hard time making friends, what I meant is I'm happy I'm not alone.
My favorite color is purple which in some muggle cultures is considered the color for Royalty, at least that's what my friend Jules said.
I think it's a great idea to give each other clues, I'm also a Slytherin. Hello fellow snake, my clue is that I am biologically a female. To help you figure it out I will point out that I'm not Transgender, I don't mean it rudely but I am speaking my truth.
I sound so stuck up in this letter don't I? I am speaking so formally and bored. I am just nervous, what if I'm so boring people will start ignoring me or worse bully me.
I just don't want to have hope built up just for it to be broken down, like a tower of books. So sometimes I have to be a stick in the mud to prevent Heartbreak.
I'm sorry, I totally forgot you asked how my day, it's pretty good just the usual tripping and stubbing my toe. Another thing about me is that I'm a total clutz.
Anyway time to get some rest. Good night Random Stranger.
Sincerely, The random letter reciever
