It was an unusual sight for everyone knows Cash that they decided to skipped their morning run but today the weather was not up to their standard. Meaning the cold air of December was not friendly enough to run around the campus. And thus, instead of doing their usual morning run, they had taken the liberty to take out some of the pieces of equipment to practice their Archery skills.
After all of the necessary equipment had been set up, Cash left it at that but stick a piece of parchment on the circle target board that they will use it in the afternoon and make sure no one disturbs or put it back in the storage room. The green eyes then continued their day until afternoon rolled in.
They had been caught up with some of their homework and took some lunch. When they went back to their dorm room, they put on the proper attire that match the occasion. Cash took out their Archery equipment and bring it back tot the Outdoor Club Area. What they did not anticipate was how the cold wind assaulted their face and thus make their face feel a bit numb and their nose red from the cold.
Holding their quiver in one hand and their arrow in one hand, Cash looked down. It seems their trusted Emerald Gazer snake decided to accompany them on this cold and windy afternoon. Their bow was hanging across their back. A few moments later, both Aero and Cash arrived at the scene. The wind still howled softly but not as chill biting as when they emerged from their dorm room.
"Looking good, buddy,"Cash complimented in Parsel after they look at the jumper that Aero wears. Aero's jumper is the same color and model just like they wore courtesy of their Abuela grandma from their mother's side. Cash then bends down to put the arrow, bow, and quiver on the ground. They clipped their quiver belt around their waist.
The quiver pocket hanging beside their thigh. Cash then store their arrow in the pocket and picked up their bow. They took one of the arrows out from the pocket and draw it with their bow. The Beater took a deep breath and steady their hands. And when they release the bow, they exhale their breath.
The arrow flies smoothly until a gush of wind hit the flying stick. They almost hit the red circle marking the bull eyes part of the target board but since the wind blew their arrow to the side, Cash hit the blue outer part of the target board. "Seriously?!,"The Cuban descendant grumbles under their breath.
"Curse you darn wind,"They said some more. Cash then took another arrow from the pocket. Draw it and with an exhaled breath, they release their bow hoping the second arrow that flies in the air did not disappoint them like the first one.
