Lauren


Physical Description: Lauren has long blonde hair that is darker at the roots and noticeably lighter at the tips. Her hair falls in thin, light waves to the middle of her back. She has pale skin and a narrow face with gentle features. Her eyes are blue with small green speckles running through them, making them shimmer green in some light. 4'5 Feet tall and a petite figure

Mental Description: She is a friendly girl, but always takes a while to open up to strangers. If you don't know Lauren, she can make a closed, slightly arrogant impression. But this is a completely wrong impression because Lauren is a kind and nice girl. She is helpful and always tries to please everyone. However, you should not underestimate her, because Lauren can quickly get angry and then takes quite a long time to calm down again.

Family:

Lauren lives with her parents and grandfather on a small farm near Edinburgh.
There they breed successful thoroughbreds in the third generation. Her mother, who is a Muggle, runs a small book cafe in Edinburgh city centre, so her daughter has developed a love of books.
Her father is a wizard but rarely uses magic, so Lauren has grown up without magic.
Her mother's father, who started breeding, lives with them on the estate and still looks after the horses, despite his old age.


History
Lauren was born on 10 July 2011 in Edinburgh, the first and only daughter of Adam and Caroll Tayler.
She went to a normal school in Edinburgh, where she didn't have too many friends. While the other girls her age were out and about in the city, she retreated to their farm to read or to help her parents with the horses.
Nevertheless, she always got good grades at school. This was mainly because she liked to bury her nose in books.
When she wasn't helping in the stable, she liked to play catch with her little brother in the small woods behind their farm.
She has a good relationship with her brother, who is three years younger than her, which is why he cried a lot when she received her letter.
Even though it was already clear that she was going to Hogwarts.
Even when her magic appeared for the first time, it was clear to her father.
She was helping her grandfather in the stable and was supposed to lift the heavy saddles off the top rack. She had to stand on a stool to reach them, and even with that she could only get her fingertips on the one saddle. She was about to pull on a strap when she lost her balance and toppled backwards off the stool. The saddle followed her, but didn't hit the ground, instead hovering a few inches off the ground. At least for a few seconds before it slowly hit the ground.
At that moment Lauren had forgotten what she was supposed to do and ran to her father's house to tell him about it.
