Others SpeakingLarino looked up at his older sister Umeko, who smiled down at him. “Larino-San.” She said in Japanese. “You’ll be fine. Run through the wall.” “I’m sorry, what?” He replied, not having come to the platform with her yet. “You’ll be fine. Trust me.” It was the last two words that shook Larino the most. Trusting people was something he found hard. But he listened to his big sister, and ran straight through the barrier with his trolley. To his surprise, he appeared at a new platform: Platform 9 3/4.
“Come on, let’s get on the train.” Umeko appeared next to him, holding her trolley. Looking at his blank face, she added, “Come on, it’ll be fun.” The two of them walked over, handing over their things. She got on the train first, making sure he found a compartment. After looking inside a few, they found an empty one. “This is where I leave you. Remember to speak in English for once.” She joked, leaving him to join her friends. He didn’t particularly want her to leave, but he did need to build up a good reputation for his new life. After all, it wasn’t the first time he’d left for a new life. The only difference was that this time he didn’t have Umeko to look up to. ReducioLarino reluctantly ran into the barrier, making his way to Platform 9 3/4 with his older sister Umeko, who left him after finding him an empty compartment. After she left, another student walks in and asked if they could stay.

A Brand New Life
Astra's older sisters Luna and Stella who were also going in the Hogwarts Express helped her to get inside the train before saying goodbye as they went to their friend's compartment.
They had agreed a few month before that it would be best to seperate during the first few days at hogwarts so that Astra could socialize on her own. And so that is what they did and Astra was now alone looking for a compartment to get in.
As she was walking with her crutches she finally choose a compartment randomly, when Astra opened it she saw an asian boy. She immediately smiled at him and introduced herself.
-Hello ! I'm Astra, Astra Ingebrigtsen. Can I sit with you here ? She asked.
While waiting for his approval she used the door's side to support her body, and kept her smile while scrutinizing him.
The future Gryffindor did not give him time to reply and putted one of her hand in her autumn coat and took out a packet of Charm Choc offering to her new acquaintance a few of them.
Astra knew how to get to people's good side and never hesitated to take advantage of it when she needed to.

Outfit: 1Larino looked up from his thoughts to see a girl with blonde hair stood, or rather leant, in the doorway. At first, he didn't notice, but soon noticed the crutches, and how her right leg was curled up behind her a little. Due to the sudden nature of it, he forgot what his sister had told him just before she left to find her friends: speak English. "Yes, of course." He paused for a moment, then realized his mistake and instantly corrected himself. "Oh shoot, I'm so sorry." Great first impression." He thought, starting to look down again. If he continued like this, he would never make any friends. He spoke quickly to try and cover his mistake, but he'd already messed up the first impression of the first student. "I mean sure."
When he looked up at her again, she was holding out some Charm Chocs, which he assumed was because he was making a fool of himself. "No, but thanks anyway." He said to her, moving his bag which he had put on the seat opposite him. "I brought sandwiches for later." He placed the bag next to him, and pulled out the food to show her, then put it back in. He pulled his pebble out of his pocket and started to hold it, like he usually did when he was talking to someone. ReducioLarino welcomed in the girl on crutches without a second thought. He usually wouldn't have been this kind, but since she couldn't exactly stand up by herself, he felt sorry for her. She offered him some Charm Chocs, which he refused. Then, he pulled his pebble out of his pocket and clutched it, like he always did when he was talking to someone.

-It's fine, which language was that ? That means you are bilingual right ? That's awesome ! Astra remarked after the boy spoke.
-Which language was that ? She asked while taking back her chocolates to her pocket.
She proceeded to sit down right in front of Larino and put her crutches on the side , before noticing her asian acquaintance had a strange rock in his hand, at first not saying anything about it.
-That sandwiches will be enough ? It's going to be a long travel, so if you are still hungry you can ask me, I don't mind sharing my food with you She said smilling.
-What is your name by the way ? She ended up asking.
The little rock she saw could not get out of her mind, she looked at it wondering what kind of magical artifact it was, thinking it was one. It reminded her of her little handheld brass magical telescope, she had on her.
Astra was making a list of everything that little rock could be able to do, maybe it has a similar use as a rememberall ? Or was it for some game ? Her curiosity was starting to grow more and more about that little rock of his.

Outfit: 1As the train began to pull away from the station, Larino felt so stupid. He knew she shouldn't speak Japanese while with others, yet he knew that he'd keep on doing it. But the girl sat opposite him didn't seem to mind, in fact she seemed to think it was cool. He'd known two languages since he was very young, and so had his family- it didn't seem much of a deal to him. "Which language was that?" she asked him, to which he nonchalantly replied with: "Japanese." She then began to ask him whether he'd have enough food, and he could take some of hers if he wanted.
Larino thought it felt awkward then, but judging by her smiling expression, she didn't think so. But he could never be sure, since he always managed to mess these things up. Especially sarcasm. How anyone could understand that was a mystery to him. Then, she simply asked what his name was, since the two hadn't introduced themselves yet. "Larino Arveli, what's yours?" It's customary to ask for someone's in return, right?
But he couldn't help shake the feeling that she was judging him and his rock. It wasn't any of her business about why he had it, but was often watched when he clutched it. -Wait, I already told you my name ! Pay attention you morron ! She thought to herself when Larino asked her for her name.
-I'm Astra Ingebrigtsen. She replied to him.
-Where did you learn Japanese ? Do you know more language ? She asked.
-Do you mix them together sometimes ? I've seen those who know several language mix them up in a sentence. It is kind of funny lol. I wish I could do that ! Astra remarked.
Astra paused as she realized something, here she was on the Hogwarts Express going to hogwart and instead of talking of the school houses lesson and possible life there she was talking to a non talkative weirdo who was playing with a rock.
Her face briefly switched to express displease about how things were going before going back to normal, as she made up her mind that it would absolutely in no way going to be a boring travel.
She was ready to make that boy open up and finaly give her that "going to hogwarts" experience.
While waiting for her replies she saw that Larino was still manipulating that rock, she definitely thought that the way to use that magical item was to do like he did, her curiosity about that rock kept on building up.

Outfit: 1The blonde girl introduced herself as Astra Ingebrigsten, and asked him if he spoke any more languages. As if anyone could learn more languages, I have enough trouble keeping up with English. He thought, then said: "Only the two, even though I do find English a little difficult at times." He hated to say it, but after living there for seven years, there were some things he didn't understand. He could speak it fine, as long as really long fancy words weren't said, but there were the stupid spelling rules. Like when you put i and e together, and he always did get homophones mixed up.
Then, Astra asked him if he could mix them up. He didn't think he could do it, but while he had the chance, decided to be humorous about it. He thought long and hard about what he was going to say next: "What? You mean like..." He paused for a second, switching to his first language, "...that?" He had messed it up, but since she clearly didn't speak a single word of Japanese, or probably know how many writing systems there were, he didn't mention it. He let out a small laugh, not really caring whether or not she did the same.
"Do you know any others?" He asked her, trying, and likely failing, to make small talk. Or, whatever it was. He didn't even know what small talk even was, let alone actually engage in it.Post layout and graphics by Larino Arveli• S U M M A R Y •
ReducioLarino decided to try and make the fact that he was bilingual funny, and decided to try, and ultimately fail, to mix the two languages. He then proceeded to attempt to, and likely fail, to make small talk by asking her if she knew any other languages.

Astra laughed together with Larino, not that she thought it was funny, she thought it was shitty humor but she still laughed "to do like everyone else". Someone who knew how she really laughed would immediately detect that she was faking it. After that Ingebrigtsen took a deep breath, it was time to speak of the real deal.ar
-So, excited to go to Hogwarts Larino ? Which house do you want to go to ? She asked.
Astra putted two and two together and realized that he must be really worried and stressed about all of this like alot of kids quite different from her would be.
- You don't need to worry too much about it you know, things will be fine ! She said thinking he might get a little more talkative if she made him a little more relax.
Now having her own idea of the reasons of such an introvert behavior from Larino, she started to play detective and made a bet that this little rock he had was a magical item which either gave luck, or controled his worries and stress.
-By the way Larino, that magical artefact you have, the more you rub it the more it manage your worries or something like that right ? She asked.

Outfit: 1Trying his best to not be offended at how she ignored his question, Larino waited a moment before replying to her question about what house he wanted to be in. With his sister in a third year Slytherin, his hardworking ability and the fact that his only magical parent went to Mahoutokoro in Japan, he didn't really know what to expect. And he wasn't sure how he felt about leaving his family behind either (he wasn't exactly best friends with his cousin, but he wasn't sure how he felt being away from him). "Hmm... I don't know. Leaving home is a big change, and I'll probably be in Slytherin like my sister, but neither of my parents came here, so I don't really know what to expect." But it only took a second for her to tell him not to worry, but she had absolutely no idea what he had to do to get through each day.
Then he realised that she had noticed the rock, and that's what was making him a little nervous. "By the way Larino, that magical artefact you have, the more you rub it the more it manage your worries or something like that right?" He looked down at what was in his hands, and was rather surprised. It made a grin spread across his face. "You think this" he held it up in his left hand "is a magical object? I found it when I was like five, and it's stayed with me ever since. There's nothing odd about it." He waited a moment, realising that she had made him talk a little. "And yes, it does work a little like that." Then, he silently added I need it to get through the day. Her curiosity about that rock being satisfied the girl decided to go on another subject. She came a closer to Larino. She wanted to trigger something in Larino for him to open more, her idea was that being closer to him would unease him which would in turn force him to open up.
-What subject are you most excited about ? Astra asked him.
-On my side it's Astronomy She added.
Astra paused, pulling out her wand, looking at it, a 31,7 cm chestnut wood and dragon heartstring wand, slightly bendy, perfect for wizards who are able to stick with their own convictions and are brave to be themselves. At least that's what they told her at Ollivander.
-Even tho, I do admit I want to try my new toy She admitted while moving her wand as a way to play with it.
Thinking of this the girl got excited, her lips slowly changed color to become black, her metamorphmagus ability was in cause, Astra did not notice it.
It was the girls final attempt to make Larino open up, if she failed she thought she d just either go on another car or mind her own business during the whole ride to hogwarts.
