A fourth year student from Mahoutokoro was walking across the school grounds to head to the Hogwarts library when he noticed a boy playing with...was that a miniature horse? Upon closer inspection, it looked to be a pegasus, but unlike any pegasus the teenager had ever seen. Its mane was pink and blue and its wings were iridecent with some sort of shining material. It was most obviously meant to be a toy for a young girl, but it must have been a muggle item because Ginyami wasn't familiar with it at all.

If it was for a young girl, however, what was a boy doing with it? And at his age, no less? He couldn't have been more than a few years younger than Ginyami, though the toy looked like it belonged to a child half his age. The Japanese student frowned slightly, then smirked, walking toward the kid and his pony while withdrawing his wand from a pocket.

"Wingardium Leviosa," he murmured, aiming his wand at the toy pegasus before making the movement of a swish and a flick. If the spell went right, he intended to levitate the figure right out of its owners hands, up high enough that he couldn't reach it.

"Well, now, what have we here?" He asked, tilting his head at the other boy while still wearing his self-satisfied smirk. "What manner of magic tool is this? It doesn't appear to have any academic purpose... Why, it doesn't even resemble a true pegasus at all." He tapped his chin with the index finger of his free hand thoughtfully. "Certainly no wizard or witch would make something so crude, pointless, or unrealistic. Could it be...a muggle item?" By the way he spoke the word 'muggle' it was clear the pureblood had an obvious distaste for them.

Eun-ji was studying today so Ye-jun decided to venture outside on his own for once. He was planning to take a walk and perhaps go for a short run around the school grounds alas it seemed like his plans would not come to fruition today. He was only walking for about 10 minutes when he spotted two boys in a rather peculiar situation. The older boy was currently levitating a toy. A toy that clearly belonged to the younger of the two. The Beauxbatons student had seen similar colourful ponies in toy stores before but he didn’t know much about them. Not that it mattered. The key thing here was that it obviously meant a lot to its owner.

For a moment, Ye-jun simply observed the situation from afar. He wanted to make sure this was not just two friends fooling around however judging from the younger one’s expression that was not the case. In fact, he soon started begging the Asian student to give his toy back and looked like he was doing his best not to cry. Ye-jun didn’t like violence but he absolutely loathed bullies. Unlike his cousin, who preferred not to get involved in other people's business unless absolutely necessary, he never waited long to intervene when it came to bullying. Today would be no different.

At last, the wizard’s legs moved and he swiftly walked towards the two students. The bully was currently facing away from him and the grass made Ye-jun’s steps essentially inaudible. He generally didn’t want to fight and when he did, he was not someone to attack from behind however this time he allowed himself to thread the line a little bit. Besides, he was not necessarily attacking the other student. He just wanted to push him a little...not to hurt him but surprise him in order to interrupt his spell. One had to concentrate to keep the object levitating so this should be enough to make the toy fall down. Hopefully, the owner would have his wits about him and pick it up quickly once it landed.

Reaching out his hand and pushing his palm against the bully’s back, Ye-jun hoped he only used the force strictly necessary for his plan. Sometimes he tended to forget his own strength. It was something he struggled with and was working on continuously. “How about you pick on someone your own size, huh?” It looked like the Asian boy was about his age so the statement shouldn’t be wrong. Either way, he was definitely older than his victim, which especially irked Ye-jun. Coward.

Ginyami frowned at the younger boy that he was told the thing in his possession wasn't a pegasus, but a 'flying pony'. The frown only deepened when he said 'she plays with me' as if the toy were alive, but it didn't so much as move. "'Plays with you'? 'Beautiful'? This thing?" he said, waving it in the air with his wand a little. "You must be stupid. I think I would be doing you a favor, getting rid of this...trash for you. Next time, perhaps ask your grandma for something more - "

But he never got to finish his sentence as he found himself shoved from behind. His concentration on his spell broken, Star Catcher fell out of the air and dropped back down to the ground. Ginyami stumbled a few steps but quickly recomposed himself, turning to see who had pushed him. His assailant was already talking to him, suggesting he 'pick on someone his own size'. Raising a brow, Ginyami looked the newcomer up and down. He didn't appear to be a Hogwarts student either, but he certainly seemed to be around his own age.

"...You mean like you, then?" he asked, his smirk returning as he turned away from the other boy for the time being to give the new one his full attention. "I was only trying to rid him of that thing for his own good. If I did not come along to comment on it, someone else would have for certain. Toys like that are not proper for boys his age to be playing with. Inaccurate, hideous, primitive, time-wasting...there are so many other more productive things he could be doing instead, especially while at school where we come to learn. Would you not agree?"

He gestured at the younger boy with the toy meaningfully with a wave of his arm. "Do you know what that thing is or if it has any real purpose?" His narrow eyes searched the Beauxbatons student's face calculatingly, wondering just how much he knew about muggle items. "If anything, it appears to be a plaything for an infant muggle girl to me."

The boy stumbled when Ye-jun’s palm pushed his back. He didn’t look hurt though and the action had the desired effect so everything turned out fine. Good. The Beauxbatons student thought with satisfaction. Now it was up to the owner to save his toy. His tormentor was turning away from him to inspect Ye-jun instead so he would have plenty time to do so.

“...You mean like you, then?” The boy sounded awfully cocky. He was probably one of those types to think themselves better than everybody else, armed with a tremendous superiority complex. “I’m not particularly interested to be honest. I just happened to pass by is all. Still, if you have to do this, you could at least fight on equal terms.” Ye-jun shrugged, clearly unbothered by the comment. Indeed, he wasn’t looking for a fight but the fact that he stayed even after saying those words clearly indicated that he wasn’t scared to do so should the situation demand it. The explanation he got afterwards was laughable at best. “I don’t know...looks like you are the only one here that’s bothered by it.” There may have not been anyone around now but he had seen some students pass him by as he was strolling around the grounds yet only this one stopped here to bully the young boy. “Also, for someone that insists one shouldn’t waste time, you seem awfully eager to do just that. I don’t see any problem with taking a break once in a while. Or is it that you cannot keep up with your studies if you do so?” It was Ye-jun’s turn to raise his eyebrow curiously. He couldn’t be sure whether he was a Mahoutokoro student but if he was, this comment might not be appreciated. Mahoutokoro wizards were very proud of their studying abilities, weren’t they?

“You good?” At last, the Korean wizard checked with the youngest of the three. He didn’t do so initially to give him some time to collect his toy and calm down a little. Now that the pony was safely back in his hands, he took the opportunity to ask. OOC: I checked with Marius and he confirmed, Sherlock would have picked up the toy. His current conversation partner was waving towards the toy at the moment so the attention would turn to him anyway. There was no point in ignoring him any longer. “Oh…now you are curious? I thought you were quite knowledgeable on the subject since you deemed it primitive and time-wasting.” It did not necessarily answer the bully's question. Ye-jun was being careful with his words. The boy seemed to be testing him. Possibly trying to figure out his blood status. The Beauxbatons student personally wasn’t bothered by these things but he knew plenty other wizards, who were eager to spit on those that weren’t born into pure blood family. He was not scared nor ashamed of his lineage but he would find it rather annoying to become target of such nonsensical mockery.

"You seem to be involving yourself quite a bit for someone who is not particularly interested," Ginyami noted, chuckling lightly at the Beauxbatons boy's answer. "If you are just passing by, should you not be continuing on your way? Or did you need something else?" His grin grew at the statement regarding fighting on equal terms. "'Equal terms'? How could that be possible when there does not seem to be an equal in sight?"

He sighed, shaking his head. "I may be the only one who has said anything about it so far, but that does not mean there are not others thinking it. Besides, like I said, I am only doing what's best for him whether he knows it or not. I would not consider that a waste of time, being helpful. Are not you the one who is wasting time interfering with someone trying to do a good deed?"

The Japanese teen raised a brow himself at the comment on his studies. "Obviously you are not aware, but my school's robes change color according to our academic status and navy blue is one of the best colors to have. I am certainly not worried about my studies being in danger. Do you need a display of my abilities to believe me?" He flourished his wand, glancing at the boy with the flying pony toy meaningfully. "That could be arranged."

When the Korean student asked about Ginyami being curious now, Ginyami shrugged. "I know enough to realize it is primitive and time-wasting just by watching him play with it. I just thought you might be able to perhaps shed a little more light on the subject; maybe prove me wrong. But it seems you cannot. What a shame."

He turned a sneer back on the boy who had his pony back. "Accio toy," he called, gesturing his wand toward his target as he summoned the pony to his hand. "You may be calling me mean now, but you will thank me later," Ginyami told the younger wizard.

Ye-jun was not particularly offended by Ginyami’s insults. It took effort but gradually, the once heavily bullied boy grew up to be pretty self-assured individual so it was hard to throw him off. If he had any respect for the other student, he might be a bit shaken but that was not the case and as such Ginyami held no power over him. “Well then…since you don’t consider either of us your equal, why don’t you walk away?” He suggested calmly.

Unfortunately, the Japanese boy didn’t leave, instead he continued spouting nonsense. He was trying to pretend to be righteous, which only make him more unlikable. “If you want to bully someone at least be honest. Stop trying to sound all high and mighty. This attitude isn’t helping him in any way and you know it. You just wanted to be a dick, that's all. Some people might indeed be like you but there will be others that don’t mind or even share his passions. It's his life...I'm sure he figure it out himself.” The Korean boy said, sounding very unamused. “Also I have zero interest in your academic standing. You are the one, who brought it up not me. I personally fail to see why I should care. Your grades might be great but your character clearly sucks.”

In the end, it didn’t matter what he said however. Ginyami was obviously dead set on making the younger boy miserable and swiftly brought the toy back into his hand, using magic. At this point, even the owner’s patience run dry and fear turned to anger, throwing himself at his tormentor. Honestly, it was an understandable reaction but Ye-jun doubted it would end well for him. Still, they were not friends and everyone should learn to fight their own battles eventually. He had to do so himself and it also took a few tries to succeed. That being said, he didn’t leave. Observing from the sidelines, the Beauxbatons student watched the scene unfold, ready to step in if necessary. He didn’t like violence but if the line was crossed, he was willing to make an exception.
