Ivy Morgan has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is relatively tall for her age at 4 ft 10 inches. She has tanned skin, as those who spend all their free time outside do.

Ivy likes to be outside. She loves flowers and gardening, anything that lets her spend time in nature. She makes friends fairly easily but wouldn't be considered popular. She usually has a happy disposition though she is fairly awkward around boys. It’s not that she dislikes boys she just hasn’t spent much time around them. Growing up she went to an all-girls school and doesn’t have any brothers.

Ivy was born in America and lived there for several years until her father re-married and they moved to England when she was 2 years old. Although Giselle is her stepmother Ivy doesn’t remember her biological mom so Giselle has always just been mom. Richard, her father, is a lawyer and Giselle works as an artist. although they are loving parents, work has always been the first priority for both of them. Ivy didn't mind too much though she got used to entertaining herself. It’s why she loved being outside all the time. There was so much to do out in the world! Eventually, Ivy got a little sister! She couldn’t have been more thrilled Angelica is the cutest baby there ever was and she was glued to angelica’s side since the moment she was born. Unfortunately, Angelica was not blessed with good health. She has been in and out of hospitals since the day she was born, the doctors don’t know what’s wrong with her. Ivy once overheard a doctor telling her parents that some children are just born with weak bodies. Ivy spent a lot of time pushing Angelica in a wheelchair around the hospital gardens.
After the move to England, Ivy had to attend a co-ed school for the first time. The boys in her class started to tease her. Since Ivy was American, they liked to make fun of her accent. This went on for a while and one day Ivy broke down and got upset papers, pencils, and other classroom supplies started rising in the air, and then fell suddenly on top of the group of boys. This is how Ivy discovered she was a witch.
Her father did not take the news of her being a witch very well. With both her parents being muggles the sudden news of Ivy being a witch has strained the relationship between them. Ivy's mom was more open to the idea but hasn't been very much of help in the technical aspect of things. Angelica on the other hand thought Ivy being a witch is the coolest thing ever!

Richard was raised in a no-nonsense household. He did what he was told and when. So it was no surprise his first marriage was a little more arranged than normal. He was introduced to Rose by his mother and though she was "picked for him" he came to care about her and they had a good life. She was a gentle soul and after six years of marriage, was tragically killed in a car accident when their daughter Ivy was 1. After her death, Richard re-married quickly and this time he married for love. He met Giselle on a business trip to England and fell in love with the gorgeous artist. Giselle is the complete opposite of him, it is often commented that the two have nothing in common. They soon had their own daughter, though the baby, Angelica was born ill and has never fully recovered. Richard loves both his daughters but mostly from afar as he travels for work frequently. Richard graduated from Harvard Law School and was one of the most sought-after lawyers. He was eventually transferred to work for an international company in England. That's where his life changed in an unbelievable manner, apparently, magic is real. Richard did not take the news of his daughter Ivy being a witch well and is still convinced the whole thing is a hoax of some sort. He leaves his wife to deal with this.

Giselle is a free spirit who needed some grounding in her life. So when she met Richard it was love at first site. Giselle's first priority has always been her art and although she loves her children they often take the back seat to her work. Ivy is a sweet girl and Giselle has always treated her like she was her own daughter. Her biological daughter was born poor in health and Giselle used her art to cope. Ivy had an incident at school and though Giselle was always the more open minded one in the marriage, she still had a hard time believing it.

Angelica is Ivy's little sister. Angelica has spent most of her time in and out of hospitals. She was born with a frail body and has never really gotten her strength back. Thankfully Ivy was always with her whenever she needed it. Angelica loves Ivy more than anything. When Angelica found out Ivy was a witch she thought it was the coolest thing ever! She secretly hopes that she is one too.
