Favourite most interesting historical event: The night when Frankenstein was created, when Mary Shelley and her friends were telling ghost stories.
Favourite people from historyany deceased person from any time: Ahh… that I have many answers to. Mary Shelley, Jane Austen, Percy Byshee Shelley, Sergei Yesenin, Ayn Rand, Lord Byron, Bronte sisters…. Mostly authors though. Also Alexander the Great and Cleopatra.
Which person from the above would you like to be know as? This is kind of like a codename for members: Mary Shelley
What is the first topic you want to discuss?:

Rules:
-Only discuss HISTORY! If you bring current affairs/politics into this you will get a warning, even if it is related to something in the past.
-Muggle history only, since HoM is a class, it might be considered cheating. While some muggle history is combined into HoM, that does NOT mean you can ask for homework answers here.
-I would not recommend discussing overly sensitive matters, such as the holocaust. If you want to do so, give me a heads up.
-All IC and OOC rules of HIO apply.
-History is history, try your best not to argue. It already passed. If you do so, make sure that it is not an argument, but rather a IN CONTROL debate.
-This goes without saying, but please be respectful to other people’s opinions.
-Have fun and learn stuff!

Yes, sorry for this. As you can see I'm from Russia and do not really know some historical names in English. We usually call him "Ганнибал" and you, as I see, "Hannibal". Logic!

No worries, I’m not a native speaker myself. As for d’Artagnan, it has to be a real person from history. I believe this is fiction. However, you can choose Dumas himself. Once you make up your mind, I will add you to the members list.
