Closed Boring Charms (or not)

Date: September 11th | Time: Morning

Charms class had been quite boring the last few days. First day was just the professor babbling about what to expect. Today, Birch rolled her eyes in preparation for the "theory" that was to come. But instead, Birch noticed a board stating that they would be learning a "Dancing Charm" and "Mending Charm".

Birch raised her eyebrows, trying to make sure she wasn't seeing things. She could use a mending charm for a lot of things. And Birch wondered if she could fight off any enemies she made with a dancing charm, regardless if dueling was against the rules.

Birch smiled, now aware that she was in fact not seeing things. Soon, though, that happiness was crumbled when it was revealed they had to pull out their books. Birch made an audible sigh before turning to study. The book was very bland, but Birch couldn't help but read.

Birch wondered if there was some kind of spell that kept wizards glued to a book, as Birch found herself stuck reading. Unfortunately, she had to stop reading to watch a demonstration, which, was somewhat enjoyable; though, it was only a stance.

The class seemed to drag on for a while. Birch waited, and waited, until eventually they were told to practice the stance themselves. Birch smiled. This was gonna be good.
