Breakfast

Date: September 2nd | Time: Breakfast
Birch had finally reached the long, great hall. It had been a long walk from the owlery, and was already packed with students. Birch felt very annoyed with all these people, at sat down at a deserted area of the table, gruffly.

She was greeted by cooking that could only be described as magical. Birch immediately started trying to pick away at the recipes of these foods, getting especially confused about how these chefs made a steaming omelet. She ignored any hard feelings about any people around her.

Birch was no longer amazed by the floating candles, or the dimly yet fancily decorated room. The sorting ceremony had made her specifically nervous about stepping foot in the hall. Yet still, she stared down her food like a rubix-cube. "Do I even belong in Ravenclaw?" She thought, as she failed to know how or what a piece of bacon was cooked with. Everybody else already had best buddies, and she had none. She felt confused, as the mumbling crowd turned to static.

Birch rolled her eyes, and started eating after looking around as people stared. It was quite delicious. Birch noticed, though, people were still staring at her, rolling her eyes again in response. Soon, she got up and left for Charms, the first class of the day.
