It was getting a bit cold at this time of year.

This Sunday, however, was not as cold as the previous days. The sun was put, but it didn't cast any warmth. It was simply shining, giving some light.

It was seemingly a nice day, but everyday to Kayla was a nice day. Whether it was raining or storming or boiling hot. It was all good days! Kayla hummed as she headed to the grounds, it was Sunday. She was done with all her homework and Squeaky was sleeping in Kayla's dorm, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to relax a bit. It had been two months since Kayla had taken the outh of being a pet owner, and it was a lot more difficult than the girl imagined. Squeaky needed a lot of attention, even when the ferret was just sleeping. Squeaky much rathered having Kayla beside her when she was sleeping than sleeping alone. The ferret was mostly active after dark, as she spent most of her sleep during the day. So Kayla needed to be up late to play with her girl, but Kayla didn't mind too much. She only minded when the ferret refused to let Kayla do her homework. But any excuse to do homework was a good excuse. My ferret chewed my quill was a common one she used.

But since she managed to sneak away for a bit, Kayla was good.

She sat at the edge of the lake, the water softly blew against her feet. She lay on the grass as she looked up at the sky. It was a nice day.
