I have no doubt you'll be surprised to receive this letter now, or at all. While there is much left unspoken regarding our past, I am inviting you to take an interest in your future. My father, your grandsire, has summoned you to the family estate. With you being my sole heir, it is important to address our 'unusual' situation and come to terms with what is expected of our family as a whole.

Your first instinct might be to ignore this letter, but I urge you to think about what this proposal could mean for you. This will grant you the opportunity to rise in standing within the British wizarding high society. Your blood has no doubt been a subject on the lips of many rumourmongers. Dare I guess you seek salvation from them? Think of the influence tied and gained by association of the family name. On your own, you will be targeted. But with the full backing of our family, you are able to prove you can come out on top.

There will be food and shelter as well as any other necessary accommodations in the estate for you. Should you desire so, there will also be time to talk about your past, my brother and your mother. I know this letter is hardly anything you would deem either acceptable or tolerable, but take it as a first step. A step towards your own advancement in the social ladder. It is time to let your mind grow up at the same rate as your height.
