Things were going nice and slow during this new year so far. For now, there had been no ball chaos nor freaks attacking their school. The chances of that keeping that way were slim, but for now, he was going to make the most of it and catch up on lost time with his girlfriend Santario when they had time. All they needed to do was keep a straight mindset and focus on what the school was here for, which was to learn and create experiences that will last a lifetime.

In the early afternoon, Gray had finished his training for broom racing and decided to sit beside the water's edge of the great lake. Many students, including the ones from different schools, were minding there own businesses and taking in the beauty the grounds had to offer. Since Gray had seen enough of it already, he decided to settle on a newspaper instead. Nothing could beat reading the latest news outdoors, it was peaceful and calming to him in a way that was only matched by sitting next to the fire.

He wasn't expecting any company at all, San was busy preparing for her next duel so Percival had some time to kill. When she was done though, Gray was determined to go out on a walk and chill out. After all, she was the one that kept him grounded.
