Florish and Blotts was more crowded than you thought. They had a hard time getting in.
Pandora glanced at the books out of the corner of her eye. All of them had motion pictures on them. Even she couldn't have imagined this much.
"Look, honey, these books are your schoolbooks. Little ones, right?"
The books were small but very good. Normally wizard books would be larger or thicker. But he thought these were sweet too. She saw her mother looking at the list.
"Honey, that book isn't here, check it out"
Pandora looked at the list and saw that it was a potion book. She nodded to her mother and went a little deeper into the bookstore.
Pandora felt as if something was going to happen to her. She looked in the books but still couldn't find it. She wondered if I should ask someone.
She found the book and gave it to her mother. She felt overwhelmed by now and turned to her mother.
"Mom, I'll be outside. I'll listen to music."
After getting approval from her mother, she went out and sat on one of the benches in front of the shop, took her Mp3 player and put on her headphones.

It was barely afternoon, the sun's light shone quietly over the grey and brown buildings that hung overhead. The pungent smell of what was called, Diagon Alley, was strong, stinging and defiling the boy's poor nostrils. He clutched both his hands to cover his nose screaming and complaining quietly to his beautiful Mother that walked so straight and proper that it would make an angel jealous. Her heels clicked on the pavement beneath.@Pandora Smith
"Oh Dear! Edward please don't be so dramatic!" She said looking towards her tall-for-a-eleven-year-old son with her glass-like silver eyes.
"Yes Ma'am..." Edward said quietly letting go of his nose that now burned a bright pink, Mother shook her head letting out a small chuckle.
She stopped bringing her small cart to slow down, inside the cart sat all the required items for Edward to have at the start of his new school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had been accepted only a few weeks before due to being revealed to be magical just like his dear mother, Lucy. The headmaster himself had owled a letter that read,They had already visted almost every store on the list, except for two Ollivanders and Flourish and Blotts.Dear Sir Edwards,

"These two are some of the most important! Flourish and blotts is where you'll get your books and Ollivanders is where you'll get your wand," His mother gave him a heart-like smile. His mother was doing the best she could do, considering she was a muggle and knew nothing of the Magical World. What she had said she had learned by asking around the place. A few click-clacks of heels later they found themselves in front it the building that read, Flourish and Blotts. They were crowded and bustling with life, Lucy couldn't afford taking Edward into such a crowded space, she feared the worst. Edward knew how overprotective she was, but he didn't mind it, he had grown up with it his entire life, also he didn't know much else.
"Here, I'll go into the store wait out here for me," Her icy eyes searched the surrounding area before they landed on a bench that sat outside, a girl that looked around Edwards age was sitring there with some headphones. "Perfect! Sit on the bench until I come out!" She smiled before disappearing into the crowd, Edward immediately did as he was instructed too, he sat down at the edge of the bench opposite to the brunette girl adjusting his top hat. A few moments passed before Edward became increasingly bored, the girl had headphones in and was listening to music. Maybe talking would help time pass by? Edward gently tapped her on her shoulder.
"How do you do? I'm Edward Edwards!" He said in his american accent sticking out his hand to shake hers. He smiled revealing the small gap in between his two large front teeth, strange yet charming. He moved back some of his shoulder length brunette hair from his face. "What's your name?"

That's when Pandora came back to real life when someone touched her arm. She took off his headphones and turned back to her. There was a boy with brown hair and dark eyes. The boy asked him her name.
"My name is Pandora. It's great weather right?"
Okay, Pandora knew this was a very bad way to start a conversation. But she couldn't find another way.
"How are you? I actually like to shop for books, but... I don't know."
She didn't know what to say. So she tried to direct him a little to the question.
"Are you bored too? You wouldn't be waiting here if you weren't bored."
I hope I pronounced it right, Pandora thought. It could not be said that she did not speak English very well because.
"What's your hobbies?"
Meanwhile, the continuation of the fiction she had made up came to mind. Without wasting time, she took out her notebook and pen from her bag. Fiction could easily be forgotten where it came from. Maybe she was forgetful. She was forgetting fictions a little fast
When she was finished, she put her things back in her bag. That's when the person next to you came to mind again

"My name is Pandora. It's great weather right?" The girl stated, it was a very simple topic. Edward looked about to study the weather, it was not raining yet the sky was grey and dreary, but to Edward the weather was always beautiful. When it rained Edward could go and play in the water, when it was sunny Edward could roll down hills, when it was cold enough Edward could build a snow fort.
"Yes it's beautiful," Edward said within mere seconds to the Girl's statement, before looking back at her grinning revealing the small gap in between his two large front teeth, strange yet charming. "Pandora?... That's a cool name."
Edward immediately thought about the story of Pandora's Box, a secret mysterious box that held all the evils in the world, all unleashed because of one curious girl. Edward's mother warned him that if he kept being so curious he may end up the same way, yet she also encouraged him to always ask questions because he could learn something he never knew before. So did curiosity kill the cat? Or save it?
"It reminds me of Pandora's box," He smiled, as always there was no filter between his thoughts and his mouth. "Does anybody call you Dora?"
"How are you? I actually like to shop for books, but... I don't know," Pandora attempted to strike up a conversation.
"I'm good how are you? And thank you," Edward said politely adjusting his top-hat. "What type of books do you like? I mostly like the classics and non-fiction but I like diving into new types of books too, although I will admit I enjoy being outside more than being with a book. Making the adventure rather than reading it, you know?"
Pandora seemed not to socialize with other people a lot, but that was good because Edward never really ever, well with people his own age anyways. Back where he lived in Cheshire, England Edward was always surrounded with people either to old or too young to play with, but that didn't very much stop him from talking to these personas. They would call him their little reporter, even though Edward preferred the term Investigator.
"Are you bored too? You wouldn't be waiting here if you weren't bored," Pandora asked before stating matter-a-fact-ly.
Edward shrugged in response as he did to many questions.
"I was bored, but that's not why I'm waiting here, my mom didn't want me in such a crowded space so she told me to wait here for her," He told honestly and simply. "What about you?"
Edward then questioned and wondered whether or not the girl was bored at all, also was she waiting for someone as well? Edward decided not to pry, or "nosy" as some of his neighbors called him, it wasn't his fault that they were so interesting to learn about, what secrets did they hold?...
"What's your hobbies?" Pandora asked questioningly, she had a bit of an accent though Edward couldn't tell what it was.
"Ummm.... I like impersonating people, dancing, though I'm no good, acting, playing guitar and piano and uhhhhhhh.... Singing? Going on adventures definitely! Um... Baking? Writing, Commentating, Soccer, any Sports honestly, and making stuff? I don't know," Edward said listing the things on his fingers racking his brain, before turning to look at the girl. "What about you, what do you like doing?"
Edward asked, who knows maybe they had one or two or maybe more things in common than at first glance. After she had finished listing her hobbies her face suddenly lit up, she reached into her bag pulling out a pen and a notebook, she started to scribble away, leaving the two in what felt like an infinite silence. Edward yawned bringing his hand to his mouth before rubbing his eyes roughly leaving them slightly pink. He watched the entrance of Flourish and Blotts awaiting the familiar face he knew to belong to his mother. Suddenly, the scribbling stopped catching Edward's attention, he turned to see Pandora putting her things back into her bag. Edward couldn't help his curiosity.
"What were you writing," He said drawing it out as to add more to it. "If you don't mind my asking..."

"Yes, Pandora's box. It's nice to have the name of a character originally from Ancient Greece."
Pandora smiled, no one had called her Dora. I think she might like being called that. She spoke with a smile so as not to leave her question unanswered.
"No, nobody said, but you can say it if you want. It would be sweet."
She pretended to think a little about Edward's questions.
"Mee to good and my favorite book is Fantastic books. It's good to find yourself in other worlds and sometimes in other universes and get to know the place. And yes I know it's such a good feeling. Especially in fantasy books."
Perhaps Edward was alone, or he likes solitude, Pandora thought. like a lone wolf. But she thought she had a cooler look like this. She shrugged
"Actually, I couldn't figure out how to feel. I read different worlds all the time, but this time...Still it was different "
Maybe he could understand better what the heroes were going through. It was difficult to get used to the new place.
"I like to do archery, play the piano, read books, make up stories, and I think I act like I'm the fictional character I made up."
When Edward wanted to see what she had written, she slowly took the notebook out of her bag and handed it to her.

Edward nodded and smiled as Dora had stated her favorite hobbies, Edward couldn't help but smile largely at her response.@Pandora Smith
"I like to do archery, play the piano, read books, make up stories, and I think I act like I'm the fictional character I made up," Pandora said.
"Really!? I do the same, though I don't write stories I say I like to live them," Edward smiled stupidly, he was happy she was okay with the nickname he had given her.
Edward yawned bringing his hand to his mouth before rubbing his eyes roughly leaving them slightly pink. Pandora then turned to her bag where she previously put away her writings that lay in her notebook of mystery... Hahaha, Edward though to himself realizing he was maing this into a investigation rather than just reading a friend's writing. Edward took the notebook gingerly uttering a quick and polite thank you before opening the book to read it's contents. Edward was impressed by the writing skills the girl had displayed and the amount or originality and imagination was immense and present as were the characters amazing. Edward made sure to express his gratitude for being allowed to read it as well as how impressed he was with it, she had immense talent and Edward knew that. But before he knew it his mother once again appeared at the entrance her icy eyes meeting his dark curious ones.
"It was nice meeting you Dora, again your writing is amazing!" He said hurriedly before running to his mother waving good bye before disappearing into the crowd with his lovely mother.Edward has left the thread
