Dear Meiriona,
I'm writing to wish you a Happy Birthday! I know that you've always been upset that our birthdays were so close to each other, but I sure haven't. I hope that this letter will make you feel better, seeing that Aunt Heulwen always forgets your birthday, sadly. And Uncle Owen...I feel like he's always too busy to remember, as so is everyone else. Sad...but alas, I didn't forget! I hope that it isn't too much to ask and that you don't get upset over my birthday again. I wish I could send you a gift, but all I have are some chocolate frogs, and that wouldn't be very thoughtful. I hope you understand. Please send my good wishes to Aunt Heulwen, Uncle Owen, and Aeron. Isn't he going to Hogwarts next year?

Dear Rora,
Thanks for remembering my birthday...I guess. Things have been very busy at home lately, so I feel like I'm being overlooked a lot. I tried to remind Mam, but she just says, "Oh, right! I can't forget! We'll get to that in a minute." Of course, then she forgets, and I'm stuck celebrating my birthday alone, or at the last minute. Not the best way to start off my 18th birthday, aye? I wish that your birthday wasn't so close to mine, though. You, Aunt Elodie, Uncle Stephen, and Sammy are the only ones who remember. Don't bother trying to send me another gift, the chocolate frogs would be very thoughtful. I won't be upset over your birthday this year. In fact, I'll give you a present since you asked so nicely. Ever heard of a wizard camera? Anyway, I'm sorry about all this. I'm happy that you took the time to write this letter to me.

First of all, Happy Early Birthday! I know that you can't celebrate with your family this year, but I will acknowledge your birthday when it comes(don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Riona. Now, who can ever forget her birthday, besides Heulwen?). Just be sure to come to the Owlery on your birthday, because I'll send you a present via owl(which is the only way I can send you a present, I'm afraid). Second of all, I have some news. You already know that your cousin Aeron is going to Hogwarts. However, your other cousin who is 8, Catrina, has had her first instance of magic! It's all very exciting. Now we know for sure that in 3 years, she'll be going to Hogwarts. You'll be Sammy's age by then.

I was feeling generous enough to send you the developing potion too. The camera's powered by magic, and if you use the developing solution on the pictures, they'll move. Amazing, right? I know that you like photography. Thank you for the chocolate frog cards. I got Morgan Le Fay, Felix Summerbee, and Alberta Toothil. Don't know who those people are? Don't worry about it.

Thank you so much for the wizard camera! I love it already, and I haven't even used the thing yet. It's all right the letter came a day late though, that owl is really slow, so I switched it out for a faster one. You should be getting my letter today. If you're not, I'm very sorry about that. I can't wait to use my present, for I've always wondered how pictures in the wizarding world move and everything. Now I can make my own pictures move! I'm glad that you like the chocolate frogs, but I honestly don't know who those people are, except Morgan Le Fay. But still, thank you and you're welcome! Ask Aeron if he got my letter.
