Ebony was just enjoying herself, watching as the afternoon sun slowly started to dim, when somebody bumped into her side.

She whipped around and snarled angrily, "watch where you're going!" He then sweared and asked a question, in which in response Ebony rolled her eyes. "Why not?" she retorted, and then snapped, "I'm just enjoying nature on a bad day. You don't have to go around and make it worse."

She took a better look at the boy. He looked angry, like kicking trees kind of angry. Ebony undergoes that kind of rage a lot, and she liked to kick trees while she was at it, so she could understood why he was grumpy. But he didn't have to be so rude about it, swearing and all. "Why are you angry? You know- you should try kicking a tree or two instead of barreling into people. What happened?" she blinked and waited for a response, but before there was one she lost control and snapped, "you know what, forget it. I don't care."

She proceeded to staring across the lake again, in an attempt to civilise and calm herself. She felt her usual unrest and anger kindle and ignite inside her. Something about the boy's tone and face was infuriating. She struggled to keep her anger down. She always struggled to do so. Instead, she plopped onto the floor, still staring at the rippling water, and picked at the grass stalks furiously. The juice from the grass smeared onto her hands. Ebony liked it.
