A Quick Trip To The Owlery
Agnus was currently heading over to the owlery. He missed home, and his little sister, and his father, and his mother. They were a happy little family, decent and ordinary. Well, at least until the older brother went up and was cursed with repeating dreams, driving him crazy and compelling all of the memories of the dreams into his dream diary, leading to, eventually, the creation of the voice in my head. Where are we going! I think we're going to DESTROY! And they're dead, dead, dead, dead, dead! Yep. Hello, Insanity. We're going to the owlery, if you must know. Not to destroy something. I thought. Awwww! NO MATTER... He said. I might just try taking over your body again. I rolled my eyes. Good, good, good... You're actually thinking rationally. Well, what passes for rational in your mind. I thought. I had been promoting this kind of thought, smart thought. Well, what passes for smart with Insanity. Really, anything that didn't end with destroy and crazy laughing, was smart to me. Maybe he wouldn't go destroying anything this time. Maybe, My half of the mind, the totally not murderous piece of it was probably overwhelmed by Insanity. Even though, I would never get rid of him. I sighed. I'd better include this in the post. Maybe I'll even get to study the owls!
Agnus entered the owlery, and immediately stepped back. There was a bunch of owl droppings on the floor. Really. I thought. Really, this is the owlery? Well, at least there was a pencil and paper. Ewww! Ha, haha, haha! Insanity gagged. That might be... I considered this. ...The most accurate suggestion you've made since your creation. Well, except the laughing. ... Insanity went quiet. I stopped in shock. Insanity? I thought. Then I felt a familier sensation, like falling backwards forever, and I heard Insanity laughing. Actual laughing, not the inferior mind-laughing. Oh no you don't! I pushed back as hard as I could, and I fell, back into my body. "Teach you to try to take control of my body, Insanity." I said. Insanity went quiet again, and I strode foward, smugly. Then I felt the sensation again! I was completely unprepared for this. Wha- I thought.
I could almost feel Insanity smirking. Ack- Insanity! I pushed back again. It was... harder this time. I fell back into my body, shivering. NEARLY GOT you there, AGNUS! Insanity blared. It was the first time he had spoken my name, and I felt dread. Insanity was stronger then I thought. I didn't know he was smart enough for this! I groaned. "Insanity, this was supposed to be a quick visit to the owlery! Not the time for your attempts!" With this remark, I gathered all the willpower I had and squashed him hard. I blocked him, put up a wall. Agnus- He started. Then he was gone. I smirked. Time to get to writing.
Right, Dad. I wrote. Lots of things have happened. I made a new friend, played some games, and, I considered wether to put this on or not so bluntly. Found my old dream diary. Yes, I wrote it, my old dream diary. I don't know if you know what I, my nine year old self, did to the book, but I'll tell you the details. Later. Anyway, this has been a very eventful week at Hogwarts. Oh, did I mention I now have an insane half of my mind? I'll mention that later. The details deserve their own paper. So yeah, what mischief has Liza been up to while I'm gone?
Filling up my room with dolls, no doubt. Practicing aim with my books, probably.
Hmm, should I tell them about Liza and the S.S.S? I should, I want there to be snacks when I get home.
Also, have snacks gone missing from the secret snack safe? The S.S.S? Yes, I know about it. Liza knows about it too. Beware. Ha. I send love to Mother. Tell her to move the S.S.S. Probably to a room Liza has no idea about. Inside the fake pot plant, maybe? Don't let Liza see this, I want to have some chips when I get home. To Liza, I've told them all of your secrets. You aren't finding hidden snacks no more! I smirked. That should get her on the edge. And she'd probably tape me to the roof when I got back. Love to Liza, stay away from my books.
To Dad, how's the house holding up? Have you been taped to the bed yet? Liza's a loose tiger, and her claws are sharp. You should expect a room full of strings requiring you to crawl. Liza'd love to see you crawl. She's aggresive, and I'm the only one who can hold her down. Stay untaped to the bed, Agnus.
P.S, lock Liza in her room for half an hour for me. And if you don't do it, she'll probably do it to you. So yeah, get her before she gets you. That's the only way to survive Liza's 'pranks'.
Hmm, yeah, that'll probably do it. Did it include enough warnings about Liza? Agnus, after all, was the only one who could hold a loose Liza down. Literally, he had to pin her to her bed.
The Next Day...
Agnus headed over to the owlery rather enthusiastically. He wondered if the reply had come yet. Or maybe Liza taped Dad to the bed, and he couldn't write. He chuckled. "I'm the only one who can hold Liza down. I wonder what she's done to the house. Locked all the doors and hidden the keys, probably. A classic." Now, wasn't there a voice in my head before- Insanity! I thought. I tested the mental wall. It still held steady. And there was a... suffering consciousness behind it. It was... talking to itself. I imagined being cut off from the only person I had known since its creation. I shivered. As I broke down the wall, Insanity seemed to realize he wasn't alone. Destroy... Why would you... do this to me... Insanity said. Insanity, I thought, What have I done to you! Insanity went quiet. Isolation... What are we... going to destroy today? Hahaha... no one else... ever existed... so alone... Ha...haha! Where are we going? To destroy! He seemed to be getting his personality back. I felt extremely disturbed. Agnus... I'm going to destroy you! Insanity said. He remembered my name, and- I felt myself falling again, and I was again completely unprepared for it. Wha- Again! I pushed back, and found myself back in my body. Well, I thought, rather surprised. I wondered what my Dad wrote!
As I found the document, it was labled for me. Good, it was probably Dad, or Liza. I opened it and started reading. Son, what a good day! I got your message, and I have a few questions, such as how you were sane enough to actually write it, but I assume you have not gone insane or compassion-deaf. I think that has something to do with your... insane half? I assume you named him Insanity. But that is for later days. Liza sends love, and has also vowed to tape you to your bed. If times grow dire, I will heed your warning and lock Liza in her room. And no, I have not been taped to the bed. Yet. Your Mom is burying the S.S.S in the fake pot plant at this very moment, and we have distracted Liza by telling her the TV is broken. She is trying to find my phone and-oops, she's found it. This might have backfired. Sorry, gotta go! I imagined Dad running after Liza while she phoned the TV repair. I chuckled. Also, The message continued, Here's a message from Liza. She asked me not to open it, so I have no idea what kind of surprise is waiting inside. Likewise, beware. There was a package... taped to the message. That brought feelings of forboding. I opened it and-Gaah! A whole bunch of tape jumped out at me! In half a second, I was stuck in tape. As I untangled myself, I read Liza's message. Wednesday Fools, you boy! I winced. The writing was scribbled and lined. I spent all day working for this! What about my secrets, boy! I can't find the S.S.S anymore, what did you do with it, Agnus! Great surprise, it was! I'm gonna tape you to the bed when you get home, I vow it! Just as soon as I get my tape back... I laughed. Liza, without her tape? That wouldn't last for a day! I wondered what I would write back. Still, ha.

This is a quote, and you'd better believe it!
