Study Partner?
Violet wanted to study. Because her house’s points were far from the other house’s and it would be a lie to say it didn’t bother her. She couldn’t help it, she didn’t mind being seen as a nerd either, she just wanted her house to win (or at least not have the worst scores) or at least be a successful slytherin student . Her other slytherin friends didn’t seem to care that much, maybe except for Janette, but in general they just cared much more about having fun. Which the red didn’t blame them for, but still in the back of her mind she was thinking about learning a little bit more.She still wanted to have fun though!
So she, alone, went to the study room to do her task and goal. She was wearing her school uniform but without the cloak and sweater, she just put on a black jacket on her white shirt and her tie because it wasn’t so cold today. She looked around for a place to sit. It was crowded enough and most seats were taken so it didn’t seem like she would study alone today, which was perfectly fine, maybe she could have a study partner and another new friend. Eventually she noticed an empty place where another first year slytherin girl was sitting. So she walked over to her and waved at her while asking. ‘’Hi, can i sit with you?’’

Study Partner?
Irene coughed, perhaps a bit too pointedly. “Yes,” she said and gestured to the seat directly opposite to hers. Make a good impression. “Is there anything you need help with?” She studided her as she sat down. She looked a bit Irish, though her accent was most definitely English, with ginger hair(not the tidiest, but not too unruly)and green eyes. Slytherin, her house, yet seemingly not her house. Ugh.
She seemed outgoing and the total opposite from her. She seemed like the kind of girl who would talk. A lot. And that wasn’t what she needed. Not at all.
Irene let her eyes glance to her nametag, Violet Grace. Beautiful, yet somewhat common.
She wondered what Violet thought of her. Not too cold, hopefully. She asked herself whether she really truthfully wanted to make friends or not. The answer, perhaps not surprisingly, was no. So her mind started to plot. How can this girl be useful? Frankly, it was a bit devious of her, but
Irene didn’t mind this side of her. Perhaps that was what got her sorted into Slytherin.
Oh, don’t think about that! Think about something useful…like what to say next. And she realised, it was this overanalysing side that brought her into Slytherin. And suddenly, she was over it.

Study Partner?
Violet noticed her perhaps too pointedly cough and felt that she was a bit colder compared to other friends she made here. She reminded herself to not judge based on first impression and sat to the seat opposite of the girl like she gestured. She felt the girls look on her as she sat down, like the girl was just studying her and it made her feel a bit uneasy but she shook her head to get rid of the thoughts. She noticed her nametag, Irene Whitefang, very close to one of her friend’s name indeed, her name also accompanying an interesting surname.
“Is there anything you need help with?”
"Oh, um, not really, I just wanted to study a bit by myself but other seats were taken" She admitted.
After a few seconds she added "but thank you..Irene"
She opened her history of magic book as she was gonna take its homework next and as boring as it was to the red, she was determined to do it and pass.
Then she took a quick glance at the girl with golden brown hair and dark brown eyes. She looked like she was thinking something and was in confusion.
After a few minutes of feeling bothered by the uncomfortable silence Violet couldn't stop her mouth from talking. "Uh you know what, your name is very similar to my friends name, she is also slytherin" and she smiled in hopes that it would be received nicely.
