Edward walked around to try and find somewhere to create his own adventure or at least to feed his boredom. He had just finished his classes and was in need of something to do, so he started his venture to find something to do. So far it was a bust, there was absolutely nothing... Until he came across the library, and that sparked curiosity inside of him. He walked into the library his freshly cut brunette hair hanging loosely underneath his blue and orange baseball cap, he almost always wore some sort of hat. He walked through the isles looking at the different books, nearby stood a beautiful girls with long, draping, red hair and pale skin. It made him freeze for a moment as he studied her features. Then he put himself back in focus in order to get the mission done and so continued his venture, he knew things were magical so.... He tried tickling the books, nothing. Maybe he was tickling them wrong, or it was the wrong book, he grabbed a book and continued to try and tickle the book, he opened it to a random page and tried there, no luck. He knew they could laugh, but it was refusing too. He was so close to cracking the code, he thought about the movies he watched. How did they tickle them? In the movies he had watched they almost always tickled the person with a feather, usually on the foot... But books don't have a foot or do they? He remembered something called a footer that was usually at the bottom page of the book. He opened to a random page and tried to tickle it there with his fingers... He sadly didn't have any feathers. He looked at the girl.
"Excuse me do you have a feather?" He asked politely.

Hannah looked at the boy behind her, she froze for a moment, why did she feel like this? "Hannah! He asked for a feather!" she thought. "Oh right!" she realized she did have one "Yes, I do have a feather, here you go." The girl handed him the feather. She started blushing for a moment. "What was she looking for again? Oh right!" She was looking for something interesting to read. She looked back at the boy, she did not know his name, nor his house, and this was her first time meeting him. But why did she feel like this? Did she like him? "Maybe he's going to the fall ball! I could go with him, but maybe he's already going with someone. She turned back to the shelves and continued looking, she grabbed a book called "Quidditch through the ages", she had already read, maybe she could read it again? It had been some time since she read that book. She looked at it and opened it "No! Hannah you are looking for something new." she thought. She tucked the book back in the shelve where it belonged. The brunette hair boy, he was still there. "Talk to him!" she told herself. She was really nervous, she gained courage and said "Hey, I'm Hannah, what's your name?"

"Excuse me do you have a feather?" He asked politely.
She the girl looked at Edward, and froze like a deer in headlights, even if it was only for a moment.
"Yes, I do have a feather, here you go." The girl handed him the feather, a blush creeping to her cheeks, making Edward notice the cute freckles that dotted her nose. He took the feather accidently touching her finger tips, causing red to tinge his ears embarrassed.
"Thank you," he smiled revealing the small gap between his two large front teeth, strange but charming. He opened the book that he was holding in his possession, and he tried to tickle it. No luck, Edward gave up, he shoved the book back on the shelf, the girl stole a glance at him as she put away a book that read quidditch through the ages. The girl looked at Edward with her icy blue eyes, that reminded him of his mother's.
"Hey, I'm Hannah, what's your name?"
He turned to look at the girl, he towered her by a couple inches, considering he was tall for his height and she was average.
"Nice to meet you Hannah, My name is Edward Edwards," he smiled sticking out his hand to shake hers. "Lovely name by the way..."
He blushed slightly at complimenting her name, he didn't know why he felt so shy all of the sudden...
"Here's your feather back," he said handing it to her. "Thank you for letting me borrow it, you see I was trying to tickle the books... But it didn't work... Do you like books a lot? I do, sometimes, I honestly prefer movies though... Im more of an outside person... What's your favorite book? I like Tum Tum and Nutmeg."
He said smiling no longer feeling shy. He wondered what she would say....
He suddenly remembered how she had pulled out a book about quidditch.
"Do you like quidditch? Im planning to try out soon... Maybe a chaser or keeper?"

"Nice to meet you Hannah, My name is Edward Edwards," The girl accepted the handshake. "Lovely name by the way..." "Why thank you, Edward." "I like you're name as well." She smiled widely, suddenly her cheeks, pale and white turned to a rosy color. She felt shier than usual, but she felt as she could actually talk to this boy. "Here's your feather back," Edward said, Hannah grabbed her feather back and smiled. "Thank you for letting me borrow it, you see I was trying to tickle the books... But it didn't work... Do you like books a lot? I do, sometimes, I honestly prefer movies though... Im more of an outside person... What's your favorite book? I like Tum Tum and Nutmeg." The boy said. "Oh yes, I love reading, I like to concentrate a lot when I'm reading, and I'm also more of an outdoors person. And my favorite book is "Tales of Beadle the Bard". Have you read it? If not, I have a copy, I could lend it to you, if you'd like.
He asked if she liked Quidditch, the truth was she did but only watching, as she preferred Scottish Rugby. "Yes, I do like Quidditch, honestly I prefer Scottish Rugby, you see I was born in Scotland, so I played a lot. That's nice that you plan to try out." she said. Hannah grinned and asked "Do you recommend any book from the library?"

"Tales of Beadle and Bard? I haven't heard of it, sounds interesting. And yes please, I would love that! I always love meeting a fellow lover of the outdoors." He smiled like a dope.
Edward hated being cooped up to long, he was more of an outdoors person. He liked what he brought it, or more like what it brought him. Whenever he used to play outside in the cold with Ben and Ava, he would come home to mother to find a steaming hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows. He loved The Great Outdoors, as his mother called it. There was no better place for an adventure. Suddenly, he remembered how Hannah had pulled out a book about quidditch earlier on.
"Do you like quidditch? Im planning to try out soon... Maybe a chaser or keeper?"
He was trying to keep a conversation going with her, as she seemed very interesting.
"Yes, I do like Quidditch, honestly I prefer Scottish Rugby, you see I was born in Scotland, so I played a lot. That's nice that you plan to try out," Hannah stated grinning. "Do you recommend any book from the library?"
"I like soccer a lot, any book? Hmmm..... Language of Spells by Garret Weyr deserves some recognition, also maybe Pax by Jon Klassen? Someone told me that The Butterfly Garden is Really good, but I haven't gotten around to reading it... Also How to kill a Mockingbird is good and the Hunger Games... I think that's all for now.... OH! And we can't forget the diary series!"
He smiled at each book he mentioned, every single one associated with a fond memories of his, mostly his mother, his tutor, and veteran who lived next door. He felt a little weird because he was one of the only people who had a funny American accent. Everyone was pretty proper whilst others had thick scottish ones, and he just sounded stupid.

It seemed like a muggle sport, and she had grown up in the wizard community. She seemed a bit stupid to ask what soccer was, but she simply did not know. "I have read Language of Spells by Garret Weyr and How to kill a Mockingbird, plus the diary series. I've never heard about Pax by Jon Klassen, nor The Butterfly Garden. I have heard about Hunger Games, but I think it simply does not suit myself." She felt like this conversation could last for hours and hours... She looked at her watch and it was already 10;37 PM. "Edward, I have to go, I have to do my homework." "Listen I know we've just met but would you like to go to the fall ball with me?" She seemed stupid asking him that, especially because they had just met, but what if he felt the same way? The same way as Hannah's cheek grew rosy red. The girl just had to know. It was a simple no, or simple yes.

The girl reminded him much of his mother, with icey blue eyes, though his mother had more silver, pale skin, and long Scarlett hair. But she held her own beauty, with her sweet freckles that fell perfectly on her nose and how she reminded him or a rose, an English rose, is what they called them.@Hannah Blossom
"I have read Language of Spells by Garret Weyr and How to kill a Mockingbird, plus the diary series. I've never heard about Pax by Jon Klassen, nor The Butterfly Garden. I have heard about Hunger Games, but I think it simply does not suit myself," She looked down at her watch. Edward nodded listening to her words. "Edward, I have to go, I have to do my homework."
He was upset on hearing these words but understood, he himself had work to do. He just nodded.
"Listen I know we've just met but would you like to go to the fall ball with me?"
Edward's heart lept, he smiled largely looking like a loony tune, it revealed the gap between his two large front teeth, odd but charming. Then he realized wasn't he supposed to ask her to the fall ball? Well it didn't matter, it was done. He was thrilled to have someone to go with, he was worried she was already going with someone. Well it was crazy to think about, considering her beauty and sweet, smart, personality he wondered why but was happy he was able to go with her first.
"Yeah, I'll go with you!" He smiled. "I'll see you at the ball. My outfit will be a surprise!"
He smiled mischievously, before turning to leave.Edward has left the thread.
